Awesome WR Coolaler :D
Question has been asked before I guess: can anyone try the max FSB with the MSI ? Maybe OPP or so if Coolaler doesn't have the time ?

how about some Quake 4 Benchmarks?
thats the only game I know clearly benifits from more cores.
I want to see something other then the synthetic benchmarks for once...
i've spotted 9 msi mobo but I think they are 2.b (still waiting the confirmation)
prolly taiwan (cuz all the boars r made in taiwan) or china or japan (cuz they r close)Quote:

One question though, something totally different... I noticed the black silicone compound coming out from under the heatspreader... is it possible to remove the heatspreader from these cpu's?
Looking at the silicone it appears that the heatspreader is attached the same way as with AMD cpu's... anyone tried it yet?

My Pentium D 805 has the same black goobledy-gook around the IHS but I was afraid that perhaps its somehow epoxied...Quote:

Isnt kentsfield supposed to be clock for clock faster than conroe?? I think we need to compare conroe and kentsfield running same clocks.
Your 3dmark06 CPU frame rates are 8.4 times faster than my 2.53gHz P4. At one point it takes 14 seconds for a frame to load.
Also, how did you get this CPU so many months before its release? Can you do magic?
Inside sources and people man ;). It's an engineering sample.Quote:

Hope Kentsfield isn't only EE.

I doubt it. The girls of Morning Musume/Hello! Project don't exactly speak the most fluent english. ;)Quote:

so anyone know when kentsfield iwll be availible?? and models?? is it just gonna be extreme edition only???
I doubt that, there will prolly be lower clocked models. Imagine Kentsfield with an HT sort of thing, 8 virtual cores :slobber: .Quote:

Greatjob!
Impressive, more benchies PLEASE!!!!
wonder what its like to have 4 conroes on 1 chip
I don't know what's going on - but every question about max fsb is ignored (the same with DFI infinity board - 6x600 post and nothing more, any stable or so)Quote:
