will it also work on asus p5wd2 with normal 955 chipset ? its supposed to work with graphic cards up to 6800 but ofc not with normal drivers.

Yes, it works with 945/955 chipsets http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...1&postcount=64 (this is old driver in this test, but all the same thing)

Principle of work SLi for 7900 and for 7590 absolutely different.
It is impossible to force to work 7950 on 8XXX the driver as correct image. It's useless to replace files 8XXX the driver on 91XXX and on the contrary, their contents is absolute miscellaneous. :(

Hi Big_Sam, great job here. I am the one you send the early "secret" driver as well, and, with "NDA" from you, I never told anyone about it :). But now, it seems it is ok to share this, and you also have the latest one which is great.

Hey Big Sam, thanks for the driver, I'm going to be using it soon on my new rebuild :D! Got a quick question: will disabling "Driver Instrumentation" in the control panel also disable SLI capability? Thanks!

ALSO, does anyone know if the 512MB 7900GT cards such as eVGA's work with these in SLI?

I do not know the exact reason of it.
I already some times heard about problems with 8596, but I also heard about its high efficiency. Tomorrow I shall try to find old 8443 and share it for comparison. :)

I have "revision" of such driver where SLi-control panel does not work, but actually SLi mode is enable. :) There can be many variants :) It can be found out precisely having looked the win registry.

7900GT will work without problems.

Thanks :). So disabling driver instrumentation won't affect SLI working, whether the panel shows it enabled or not (and if it does, there are registry settings I can edit?)? :toast:

MB_Capable 01 00 00 00 ( Always = 1 )
MB_Enable 01 00 00 00 ( Parameter enable - Always = 1 - SLi = on / Parameter disable - SLi = off ) Parameters for both video cards !!!, that is 4 pieces... 2 x MB_Capable & 2 x MB_Enable (and that's only for FW 7X.XX & 8X.XX !!! not for FW 87.XX & 91.XX)
