P5B Deluxe 965 chip Support Kentsfield Quad-CPU

So I am hearing that the 975 chipset is not good for clocking kentsfield - but the 965 really works well - and is cheaper.

That being the case - why would anyone want a 975 motherboard? What does it have that the 965 board is not able to offer?

975 supports crossfire officially and sli non-officially/dual gfx. :p:
Where as 965 no dual gfx capablity. ;)

I will never go SLi or CF, as many people won't - 965 is perfect for us.

But you can run a 7950GX2 on it right?

NV's 7950 driver didn't support 965 chip yet. So it cannot be SLI now. The 7950 GX2 scores are only half.

We also need to know if Kentsfield works on the NV 590 and ATI chipsets :)
