bazx very very nice cascade!
what are your static, high/low pressures on the 1st/2nd stages?
Where did you place the sensing bulb for your TEV? Is it inside the HX box?
i placed it right at the top of the coiled hx where 2stage gas comes inQuote:

To almost -50 at times but averaged out around -45 which was way better then i expected
I will try 402a see how that come up
in the pic below the the -41 is the in feed to the hx and the -48 is the suction return end

Also been working on better way to make up suction return lines
This is the first prototype i had it made with the ends all welded together
To form one piece it is 1m long and rated to 2000 psi by the company that made it

but before i scrap this cascade to build the smaller one i want to try out
the new enclosure out
What's the function of the receiver on the 1st stage? It works like a capacitors in electrical circuit stabilizing the gas' flux?
Sorry for my bad english...
P.S. Beautiful work :D
What type of wood do you use and how do you put it together?

in this unit the hx box was made from 12mm or 1/2 cut to size on a chop saw
then glued and nailed except for the lid/top which is screwed on
K what type of nails got a picture?
