hmmm, rosetta = 10,253/46,948
Can you do a SS of that? The info on the proc can be blocked if that's a concern.Quote:

Congrats!
With those numbers I think your looking at a machine that will do close to 7000 a day on 2 cores..Very close to uOpt's quad 875 numbers.
bleh, i had disable all but one pair of core for super pi benching , which is under NDA btw ;)
Forgot that i had done that, didnt reboot.
Then multiply that 7000 number by 4..28K a day on rosy? :rofl:Quote:

You do realise that you have to run this for at least a day and see what it will actually pump out..:p:
i cant let it connect to rosetta, that would violate NDA ;)
 :slap: :p: ;)
no it wouldn't :rolleyes:Quote:

Sure i believe you.BTW i just typed my post on me new ES invisible keyboard:rolleyes:
Not that we don't beleive you. Just the reverse, a normal curiousity to see a 8 core unit in action.Quote:

We're all adults here hopefully and no need to make up stories.
My curiousity is just to see what that beast would do in a day. Same question I asked when I saw the first conroe and woodcrest.
Another point, you already connected to Rosetta, just set your comps to hidden and that takes care of any concerns with an NDA..;)
So does this:Quote:

umm what the hell is going on?
Alright, well, before I lead you on anymore, it IS fake. I found this image and just HAD to use it. As the first replier said, I though the "insane" in place of "inside" was a dead give away.
hicookie made it absurdly obvious. you run pi for a very low number (ie 16k) and then photochop it to 1M. same checksum, same time, it'll validate; the validator doesnt ask for the number of digits, does it? one must just remember to put in the proper number of loops for 1M, which hicookie did not ;)
Yeah, and i thought my ES invisible keyboard is something:rolleyes: .
I feel some may feel cheated CompGeek, you should appologise to them for making them :slobber: over their (still) visible keyboards:D
And for those who :slobber: : next time check a dictionary on the word fake ;)
I agree, but I always assume that what is posted in the forum is provable fact. No, I'm not naive. I just assume that there is no reason to make things up or lie to one another.Quote:
