Pictures of V1000 or PC-7 watercooling anyone?

As Roli said...you will have more options of keeping everything inside with a bigger case if you want a triple rad. Depending on what you are cooling you may be able to get away with a smaller rad.

Here is my failed attempt at going with an external rad enclosure. I was using a Watercool HTF3 at the time.

You just beat me to the post, actually looks good in that inclosure, maybe back id of gone for but i still like it mate.

lol thanks. It helps that the PC-7 has a 120mm as its exhaust fan :)

I love it!!! Got more pics? This is exactly what I have in mind with a PA120.3. That guide makes the cutting a lot easier, I would assume. No hole cutting.

well it would have been nice to cut the rectangualr type shape like shonuff did bu i took the easy way out for my first large cut like that and used the hole saw and made 3 big holes etc.

as for the airflow, in theory it woulda worked as marci and i discussed, but yep we discovered that OVERALL the setup resulted in a lotta pooling hot air that just hurt chipset, pwm, ram AND sli ambient temps.

after that i redid the loop slightly, put hte fans on top with gaskets and neoprene in between the rad and case, got it pulling air thru, redid my internal fan's too and now its MUCH cooler overall.

now its like:
front lower HDD fan blowin out. (fan controlled down to 5-6v)
rear mobo section fan blowin out (yate @5v)
3x yates on rad pulling up and out

lol the chipset fan on the jing ting cooler doesnt ever startup now. ha. ok ima take pics and show it this time.

one more thing: you can internally mount a triple in a v1000 without giving up the pci slots and depending on the thickness of your rad, you may be butted right up against your top vid card in SLi. oh and this requires 25mm fans, so no panaflo here. its possible, and i would liek fully internal myself, but i also like my audigy card which i worked hard to get!

As you will see space was a big issue here with the V1000.

Hopefully you are not planning on running a SLI set up or using an add in sound card. Again, with the internal mount you are very limited on space.
