I think this pretty much sums it up ... I'm now on the look out for a Tuniq Tower 120. NCIX say the should have them in sometime early July. So i wait and see i guess. If anyone sees them in stock (somewhere that ships to Canada) lmk please :)

Silver Bullet according to Tomshardware , the Titan Venessa Type-L is better, so why not get that? I'm not sure what im getting myself....

hookid - I think the Tuniq Tower 120 still does better, notice that at TomsHW, they only running 3.8Ghz, while at Xbitlabs they running 4Ghz. I think the extra heat would either make the HS run the same temps or the TT120 would win. Hard to say, but I like the design of the TT120 better (fan in the middle). That way doesn't mess with the ram and saves me from having any space issues.
BTW, what HS are you running now? What your temps like, cuase i would expect the PDs to be running a lot lot hotter than any C2D is every going to. Even at 3.2-3.6ghz, I would think there be less heat than a PD at 4Ghz.
The benchmarks from Tom's and Xbit seem to be contradicting themselves.
According to Xbit, the Vanessa Type-L doesn't even beat the TT Typhoon.
Other reviews of the tower are consistent with the result obtained by Xbit.
I think I'll stick with Xbit's testing methodology for now.

Their heatsink are about the same size. Notice that tower 120's fan is inside of the heatasink, which make it heatsink dimension 25mm bigger on D (or more, maybe 27mm). As for how well the they connect to the CPU, no one relaly knows unless they buy both and run benchmark. I think they are about the same, not sure though.
EDIT: The tower 120 is heavier (798g without fan vs. vanessa 800g with fan), so u know thats something to think about. Different coumpound ....

all those 120mm monsters, I haven't seen any yet...and I've been looking for cooler master's infamous dual 120mm friggen huge guy that I haven't seen much about either!

but do remember that tower 120's heatsink is separate, and vanessa's is just one big thingy. so... yeah thats another thing to think about

I like it, cheaper, about $100, loveee 120mm fans :-), can have up to 3... I might get it for my new rig, not a fan of full towers and i likeee 120mm fans..actually check out the Lian Li PC-7B plus II...personally I'm not a huge fan of "no tool required" cases..Quote:

I'd say the Thermalright SI-120 or SI-97. I'm using one for my Athlon 64 and doesn't make a noise due to the silent fan on it :P
