I guess what we really need is a number comparisson between the two setups.
I for one question the effect of the squared reduction between the two sizes. Simplest case would be to camfer or put some angle on that face.
But ideally it would be to machine a new top minus the design flaws.
I would go with nylon personally. I will get an estimate on a revision prototype from a local shop here, since I can make the cnc code for it, it might falls within reasonable rates and we can get a comparro of the two on the forums.

I wonder if this cover eliminates the 2nd pump's noise when connecting them in serial.
As for the Alphacool's top mod. I must say that i still believe that it doesn't completely solve the "prob". Cause u're stil using a limited diameter outlet for the pump. So restriction is still there. In my opinion the best but more expensive way is Radiical's tops. My :2cents:

yeah this pump is tiny, I like it. I will have to redo everything next week though, I want to try out AS Ceramique this time around.
