It's a X1900GT....

BTW the volts are all quite quite safe... it's under X1900XT stock volts :)

I hightly doubt he is killing his card, My X1900XTX makes a chirping sound when scanning for artifacts as well when it's under heavy load for awhile. Nothing else seems to make the card do this however and it is still working great even with a 24/7 overclock for months now.

Holy crap! I just tested a Sapphire X1900XT 512MB. At 720mhz core, 810mhz RAM (OCed with ATI Tool), I only scored 12.6k 3dmark05!!!

This brings into question as to whether or not I should really sell my X1900GT....

xt's have a certain threshhold, if you oc too high the score goes down

BTW, it was bc the OC was too high (was artifacting)

With no artifacts, 3dmark05 score = 12.9k
