Komplett (and most other Eurpean stores I believe) use the more logical ISO 8601 date system (YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss) so it's June, not August or whatever you were thinking.
This shop in German has Asus P5B Dlx and P5W DH Dlx boards at their site but doesn't know when they have it at stock.
Still no details on MSI P965 Platinum though?! I can't even find a pic! I can only find pics/details of the P965 Neo (which has a pretty crappy layout...!).
Cheers,
Suman
Man i just wanna know when i can get the new Abit Board. Not to mention i wonder how long us here in Canada are gunna have to wait for it *cries* Man tech takes forever to get here sometimes, i have these CPU's sitting here and i can't even use them, its depressing!
We are currently planning a mass order for the P5W DH in Germany and most resellers expect the boards around June 20 - June 23.
That's pretty good. Some person was trying to tell me that no conroe boards would be around until 23rd July.
Be interesting to see if Komplett gets them in stock today or not..
I believe not ;)Quote:

As I wrote above, most resellers expect them around June 20 - 23 and I don't expect them any earlier. I rather expect them later.
Hell, I am waiting for this board cuz I don't have a desktop PC right now and when I have to wait for a piece of hardware it usually takes forever ;).
Snap mate, lol.Quote:

I wasn't sure if what you said applied to just the Asus board, or all boards.
My bad, I was talking about the Asus ;)
I'm torn between the MSI and the Asus... they're both so uber! :slobber:
am i so far out of the loop that conroe CPU's have been released?
no, but conroe MB's are in the pipeline. Several of us are without systems and waiting for Conroe, and i guess it would be nice to get a MB and a Pentium D 805 now, and then when conroe comes out we can update it.
That's exactly what I'm planning to do ;)Quote:

looks like 0B rev
notice there are 2 less caps under the card and 1 above slot compared to this one http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...101408&page=10
Doesn't look too bad, although the IDE port is placed in exactly the wrong place for a normal optical drives location.
The IDE is alright for me as I have my motherboard tray cut to allow it to feed out the back, my floppy connector is in almost the same place on my epox
Found some more pics MSI P965E Neo/ MSI P965 Platinum down bottom page

Oh dear :( which boards where they out of interest? The 975X Platy is clocking like a beast though :eek:Quote:

Right now is a good time to be in the industry, especially as an enthusiast and gamer. Intel are fighting back against AMD after some years of tough times as AMD become stronger and stronger and grew their market share against Intel.
Now things are looking very good for Intel – they have the fastest desktop PC processor in the world just waiting to let it loose and a great chipset platform in the Intel 965P and nVidia nForce 5 series with ATI lurking around in the background with their RD600 chipset which should be launched around September 2006, apparently the same time as Intel will release their new Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme processors into the market.
