AMD on the other hand, remember when Opteron was launched? Cause I do ;) - I was online every single night when I was in Bangkok (and I live in Europe...) - in order to order a CPU the day after first one got out (wanted a mate to test one first), and then I ordered, wooops, too late, already sold out :mad:

Well here in Sweden we don't get a lot of chips on launch so we pretty much have to pre-order in order to get one for sure.

hehe.. but opterons weren't made for normal consumers... ATI cards are :fact:

well, both nvidia and ATI are always LATE... :(

Anyhow, Opteron s939 was ment for normal users, the 2xx / 8xx was the only serious server solution...

I most have the patients of a saint. I want conroe bad. I have the money to do an extreme PC. But this is what I want. Conroe 3.33ghz 1333/ ATI R600 XFired/ . Now that I know more about ATI Chipset with 48lanes and 3PCI-e slots It will probably be ATI chipset/Vista . So this poor Dothan running on chilled water. @ 3ghz will have to run me till Jan 07. Dam it. But i will not jump on the first ship because i just want it. The PC I am on now is my wife's and to be honest The 3.2c is one fine processor
