absolutely sure is DFI LP UT C19SLI32-T2R/G..........! look at DFI roadmap and think a little ! look at latency settings...is caracteristics for sli mobo's....and asus say nothing about conroe's mobo on his roadmap for june,but DFI say...!!

that would be great if its the new g.skill 8000 2gb kit....as for it being DFI i guess that would make sense in all with the roadmap posted.

It's impossible to be Gskill, GSkill is impossible to be up for that timings.
also same way running, OPB's results is faster though

its extreme enough for me. I'd be perfectly happy if i can get my conroe clocked up to 3.7G.

i dont see how anyone could really complain about that.

almost every chipset is capable of that. Besides that fact that we know a DFI board is coming, there is absolutely no reason to assume that this is it. There are probably 20+ conroe boards coming in the next month or so.

but it was andre who told us we'd see dfi 975x board in august. I think it is DFI myself, but no way to judge what chipset, it may be the Infinity 975X/G

I think what he is getting at is that he wants to see how much further this cpu can go on phase, not taking away from your air clocking.

3.7G cannot run 3D mark. It just finish 32M.

On a side note, are there enough results to start grading overclocks and tell the general limit of the chip for each level of cooling assuming decent voltage control?

E6700 max stable on air was exactly what i was hoping to see :) thanks andre

guessing max stable is around 3550-3600 ? that would be real sweet as this most likely will be my next setup.
