Futuremark removed Conroe/Merom scores

Single card scores and results sorting rejected. because SLI was dominant on AMD where ATI had no dual video card solution? If people were to see ATI dominating single cards it was not favorable to Nvidia and AMD who had the superior SLI chipset.

"I think the reason they removed conroe because it's not officially released."

They left the 2K1 scores up.

Most likely they were left up because FM does not support 3d01SE anymore.

FM sucks. isn't there any other benchmarks we could use?

Maybe we should just stick to benchmarking in _real_ games.

I agree, these benches are for everyone around the world to compete with one another & therefor all hardware used should be available to public in order to post results & own the orb!!!!

It's all about a level playing field & ES cpu's that are'nt in retail sould be decredited until thier available!!!

There is more to this than just Conroe/Merom. I can't publish any scores. The check box is disabled on all my entries.

I couldn't agree more. These scores do not belong on the list. Intel has seen fit to enjoy all of this free advertising. Paying to be a pro futuremark subscriber doesn't grant you rights to info on intels unreleased stuff. When anyone can buy one in a store then it is fair. Right now, it is not even remotely fair.

It's not a question of whether they have rights to Intel's 'unreleased' cpu. It's a matter of AMD's newest baby got stillborn.....
Not to metion, nVidia's SLi fingerpainting for IQ gets hammered by a single ATi card.

Sounds like FM sold out to me...

Just cause we like the ORB to be fair competition doesnt mean we dont wanna see conroe results, and valour them, it simply means, DO LIKE SAMPSA STILT, MACCI and the others, take a SS, put it in your signature, and wait for release of conroe too submit score public..

Explain how it is fair to have scores up there with hardware that cannot be purchased except for a random piece here and there on Ebay for crazy money. Also, why does every single thread on the internet about these CPU's turn into Conroe VS AM2 and ATI vs Nvidia?

Futuremark did not sell out, they just came to their senses.

Lets hope they answer.

Its about the time and effort we put into those scores and the lack of an email letting us know what is up that is the problem.

We will still post scores and trash AMD badly. Next they will disqualify catalyst drivers completely.

I like the stillborn analogy, so fitting.

Does your account can't publish scores or anyone with Uknown (or whatever Conroe gets detected to) cpus?

If only account, you can keep terrorizing FM and publishing free scores, up to 5 per account

Besides FM doesn't have any public policy regarding this, do they?

Can a normal user buy a Conroe now, NO. Can a normal user by a 3 stage cascade now, yes.
