Wow nice results!! What vCore? CPU-Z says 1.40v but is that the real setting or a mis-read.

I think he's doing that actually at 1.4. These AM2 chips come at what...like 1.35 or 1.4? Anyway, those are very nice results for stock vcore. Looks like these are some pretty good chips (even better than the barbeque Lays...and those are my favorite).

Only 2.7 GHz :(
Dont understand, x2 3000+ ??? Is x2 3800+ not the smallest dual core ??
x2?
You confused over it being AM2?

its not an X2 where did you see anything about an X2 3000 ?

this is the standard bull:banana::banana::banana::banana: heatsink form amd just they are too cheap and stupid to realize that the alumin. heatsink doesnt cool jack squat.

This whiney overclocker stuff gets to be too much. Why would they give you something better to cool a cool running 90nm 1.8GHz cpu? Just like the rest of the past few years, want to OC it, change the thing. More dollars and "sense": even if they wanted to appease the OC'ers, unless they go all out and waste all that dough on everyone, you might huck it anyway.Quote:

In fact, the variations probably exist to give you as little as they feel comfortable for the clockspeed.
Well the box says nothing of it being a X2, so CPU-Z reads it wrong.
Nice results so far. I guess its not maxed out at 2700, so up the vcore a little and see how far it goes :)
Keep pushing WWM !
2.7?? Single Core???? Are we going backwards??:(
No....but there are single core and dual core AM2, just like 939 :)Quote:

:poke: My bad, but there's a pic of the stock cooler in the first post in my defence :)Quote:

I thought am2 had a max of ddr800?
nope, the max is what the Memory can do. now DDR2-2066 is the absolute Top no matter what for DDR2 MemoryQuote:

Let's see how DDR2 helps... if at all.
