Nice vid Flank3r, I thought you were gonna crank up that NB ?
temps are the problem...There is no cold, ambients 22 C, outside is today +19 C :).
Wow it is warm there and yes that NB really kicks up the heat. We've had a couple days now above 0c but yesterday it was still -18c in the morning.
there coming the spring, seems it :). I have couple of screenshots, I must edited it and put into forum later :)

77 C Coretemp! So over 90 C at chip! Wow...In R15 frozed with this clock
I though you were not supposed to go over 70? I am surprised the chip is fine.
The TjMAX for FX CPUs is 95 C (real), this is around 80 C in Coretemp, after you can get black screen or your CPU will shutdown. Of course, for 24/7 is not fine running many hours over 70 C in Coretemp, but for benchamrk its OK.
AIO will be OK for this topmodel AMD
Thanks.
Did you just set that fan on top of the vrms?
yes :)
Great, thank you. I am working on it this weekend!
part 3 coming soon :)
I'm also getting about 4.7GHz with a Vcore of "1.368" as shown by my CPU-Z with my new H110 CLS. So far has been stable for the first hour or so at this setting, the temp is pretty much locked on staying at 64c. I don't know, does this seem a little bit much to you all for the H110 on this OC? I could do 5.0GHz in Prime with about a 1.55vc for about an hour or more. Temps I saw were between 70c-75c. There was consistent de-throttling with the CPU bouncing around between a 1.4GHz clock and a 5.0GHz in CPU-Z and the Asus Suite.
Overall, this is interesting that I am now getting 4.7 Primable with no de-throttling or hiccups on the CLS at 64c. I couldn't even get the thing to Prime pretty much period at 4.7GHz with my 212 EVO. Any suggests on lowering the Temps with this OC? Ambient Temp gyrates through out the day with my standard Wall Air Condition between about 65f to 75f or 17c to 23c.
Needless to say, I was expecting much more from the H110 upgrade. I tried the Seidon 240M and ended up taking it back within 24 hours because it was just horrible, even with 4 Cougar 120CFM Fans on it in PUSH/PULL and my last bit of Coollabs Liquid Ultra. The Hyper 212 EVO ate it for breakfast.

Did you raise your CPU-NB voltage that high? My BIOS defaults it to 1.1375v at 2200MHz for my FX-9590 by comparison. Your CPU-NB voltage should never be above the core voltage anyway. Short of going to a full custom water loop with a minimum 2x 140mm or 3x 120mm radiator I don't think you'll make any breakthroughs in an 8 core prime-stable overclock.
I wish Overdrive let us adjust both partial and full Turbo states because if so I would leave the default 4700/4800/5000 states and just reduce the voltage to the minimum necessary.
So, short life of my last FX-9590...I tested it at Ln2 and died with high voltage. It was risk, but I must do risk sometimes...
Im using for LN2 old good C5F. New C5F-Z I have in my daily setup.
This one FX-9590 was batch 1327PGN - and results with LN2? I started with Cinebench, good voltage scaling very well up to 5900 MHz, but after....SO where is the problem? I must back to testing Core Units and max validation....
CU0 was the problem max validation not more than 6800 MHz
CU1 not good = 7300 MHz
CU2 = seems average or good - 7650 MHz
CU3 = 7650 MHz lighlty better (I had 7800 MHz, but not saved validation file). All tested with the same voltage 1.95V.
After I did risk (I wanted 7800+ MHz) and set in TurboV 2.1 V vcore, OK, OK, change the ration in PScheck and CPU frozed, I did hard restart and after CPU died....

First test before validation were Cinebench runs.

Cinebench R15 I wnated over 6.5 GHz, but as I wrote before. CU0 was totaly crap :-/

Thank you for posting your great results FlanK3r!
Too bad you lost a CPU Flank3r, nice vid though.
Yes, but still I have two FX-9590. One in my upgraded PC and second gold in box :)
I notice you're still leaving the NB around 2500, ?? I thought with all that cold you'd be well over 3000
it was warmup only...AFter I found the CPU is not much good for all cores stress, I was backup to validation of Core Units :)
Ahh that makes sense. Thanks
