PC-Z70 is best
But i stay with PC-A7010
The Z70, the Z60 "only" holds 6 HDDs:

it also seems to be 2x140mm, atleast according to Lian Li's specs.
Is it just me, or are lianli cases looking cheaper and cheaper every year?...not to mention being less useful every year.

Such a huge case, yet no room for a 360 rad at the top. A single 360 rad would never do the job for what this case is intended for (tri/quad-sli), they need to know that some watercoolers don't want to always use external solutions.
The older pc-a77 was great because you could fit a 360 or even a quad in the front AND the top, but they wrecked that one too with the new a77f.
I agree. I wonder if Lian Li is anti watercooling. An 800D similar design with LL quality and I would be all over it.
I really like the look of the PC-V700F
280 rad is almost as good as 360 (2,7 of 360 surface, and it has better area efficiency in case, since it is wider, but not too long (doesn't take any 5,25 bays).
Imo you put a 280 on top, 280 front, you have many free 5,25 slots, and 280+280 pretty much scales to huge ultimate 560 rads that is capable of cooling everything.
Only people that can be really upset, are these who put psu on top (old tower lian li frame), and then 420 radiator on floor. But this was overkill no matter what.
aerial: it's wrong to think in just rad area terms when comparing them. You have to also remember worse 140mm fan selection vs 120mm ones, +at least with HWLabs rads one also gets too big width of 140mm rads (they don't fit in 5.25 bay enclosure. IIRC it's not as bad for other vendor 140mm rads though.)
There is plenty of fan 140mm options these days (and there is still more), especially if you consider very low speeds on thick rads, that imo this is no longer relevant. More time passes since 140mm rads are on market, there is more and more fan options, people shouldn't repeat this argument for years, just because there is no 140mm gentle typhoon. There is also more than one radiator manufacturer, and hwlabs are neither best nor most efficient ones (but they are probably most expensive ones).
I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn't use 120mm radiator now, becayse in most of the cases they are not as efficient when in comes to optimal usage of case capacity. But that is just me.
Also i would desagree that obsidian (700/800) case is such great "watercooling design" case. Really, it is vastly overrated. It offers pretty much only 3x120 radiator mount on top, out of box (while there are other cases that already did that, and were cheaper and aluminium like ATCS 840) and has black interior by default (that is big factor for most users, since it greatly limits amount of possible alternatives). But in terms of water cooling design, really, they could do much better, such as bottom compartment, and psu mount, case doesn't offer any additional radiator mount with no modding (you can fit there small 2x120 at most). If they made higher compartment, would be option for another 4x120 rad, or 420, and another shorter one next to psu. Most of users just keep there a psu and nothing else, gigantic part of case capacity is wasted. Even top doesnt offer more than 360 rad mount, while there is space for it (modding required). It is surprising how little corsair had to do, to release, considered by really many people, an "ultimate" watercooling case.
*bump*
Any updates on the new Lian-Li cases? I still find the X2000/X500 (if there was a non windowed version) and the B25 series my favourites though.
I want the the PC-H70 badly. I really hope the price is south of $400 though.
I really like the Lian-Li cases with sheer faces, no holes or anything, like the Z60, but I don't like the vented sides. One thing I like about the B25 series is the ability to remove the HD cage completely as I would like to put the drives in the optical slots to open up air flow.
Anyone know when this PC-V600F version will come out?

Why o why are these taking so long to get to retailers? I check for the PC-Z70 on most sites every few days.
