Sorry if your gonna persecute me for this but I am confused. When people get this CPU we will be gaming, encoding, rendering, compressing, etc... that is what this CPU will be used for with a lot to most people. Do we have any idea how fast this CPU will do any of those tasks? Is this CPU really good for gaming? Is it really good for running winrar? Is it really good for mp3 encoding? Pi runs at 13 seconds...so what? That doesn't mean anything? From months of results I cannot tell how well this CPU will run in any application. Don't say synthetic tests show how well this CPU will perform, becuase I doubt a 13 second PI time from Conroe means that AMDs 25 second pi time is really slow, or something like that...honestly...we have no proof of how well this CPU will run. I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Sorry to be kind of rude, but this is frustrating for people interested in how well this thing performs. (as I've mentioned this before and people responded to me as a Pro AMD guy, I'm mearly frustrated and want to know well this thing will perform, heck im probably gonna buy one myself) Needless to say...the only people on the net with conroe doing any type of testing, I suppose we can't complain, feel lucky that someone has it and we can say it performs well...but I'm not so sure anyone doing the testing is as concerned about how well it will perform rather then breaking records..sorry to throw opposition out there but I think its necessary, no disrespect intended :-p

These guy are not paid testers, they're guys like you and me, and when they have the latest and greatest hardware, they want to play with it and yeah break a few WR's. Remember they do this in their spare time and have no reason to other than because they're being helpful. Appreciate what they're doing even if it not enough in your eyes, they've been around a while and it is impossible to do every benchmark everyone requests.
