Yes, that WAS true...I'm a first person who broke 15s wall,

Holds is the wrong word to use if it's not published. This is a rehashed version of the same argument on the nvidia engineers and Ati engineers we have so often who get all the records first but cannot publish of course :)

So published or not if we can call those other Merom and so on results as WR's a WR in my books can be what has been done/shown and I have seen the Screen Shot of the 63.5k run so that would make that the WR going by the way others want to see the results.

No I disagree. The only thing that makes it a record is publishing the score on the Orb, not whether the cpu/gpu is open to the general public. If I ran a marathon in 1 hour 30 minutes at home with me timing it does that make it a world record ? No, quite plainly.

I don't care if some nvidia or ATi engineer is already hitting 20k in 06 this is still not a world record either, even if you have seen the screen shots.

No it does not make it invalid.

If it's on the Orb and Futuremark say it is not a cheat or a bug then it is valid, if it is a screenshot only then it is not valid.

The Orb has always been ruled by new unreleased hardware when it first comes out so you get these people who would never have been at the top near or at it ( but obviously not Kyosen in this case he is a bencher not a webmaster or reviewer ! ) . As the hardware becomes general then these people are superceded by the K|ngP|ns and Oppainters of this world.

hahaha, OK, now I pulled 3DMark2001SE: 62749.
I think that it's still worthy to know the "promised" score
which is obtained by the near future products, don't you?;)

Now I published 3DMark06: 12401, by items which everyone can get,
though my Yonah/T2600 is an Engineering Sample.
As you know, several retail T2600 exceeds T2600 ES, and vice versa:)
And I am not impressed with my score at all:D

I think ES scores help people to foresee what a piece of hardware can do once it's released.

If it's all about epenis (I.E. highest score in this case), then I don't have anything to say, anyone that cares that much about a number uploaded to a website deserves what he wants to think :D
