awesome stuff man, perhaps you would like to do me one of those for my evap too? We can add that to the gpu mounting order if you wish...
regards
Raja
They are stunning, as ever :)
I can't wait to make use of the 2 for me, though once again they are actually for other people so I only get to 'play' with them.
I received the controllers and cascaders today, will have to post a pic or 2 of them in the other thread too :)
I sure love your work, and I can tell that you do too :toast:
You'll have to thank @itor for me, he's only getting better with age :woot:
Cheers
Gray
Lol!!
No problem man, @itor always make the enclosures a little different so any of them has it's own "personal touch" for the customer.
Contact me by pm or msn.
@Gray
I'm sure your customers will love them, as they (the evaps) have some "inside news" I would love you test, just keep radio silence until you get them there and test them...
looks fantastic mate great job once again :).
Really nice enclosures my friend :toast:
best regards
Top shelf work, super clean!
I almost peed my pants... :slobber:
These are too cool, can't wait to get mine!!
Ssilencer I sent u a PM.
I never posted this enclosure before, it's the one we used in the last V2000 unit we made, with embedded blue leds

http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/751...05smallmx4.jpg
they are very nice enclosures sscilencer :toast:
Thanks Kayl :toast:
I posted this one cause people are asking how to mount leds on them
Ssilencer for the new one you are making me can you embed red leds discretely for me?
regards
Raja
OK, this is DarthBeavis's "Ultimate" (enclosure model)
http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/3723/cpumediumol1.jpg
Soon the real deal ;)
I got to hand it to u guys, those are by far the cleanest enclosure that i have ever seen period.
Thanks very much :) the old man has lots of experience on his hands
Raja's VGA adapter and new enclosure (I have it a minute in my hands, but @itor took it away to do the drill job)

Is there a set style or can we spec it or draw it up? How long does one take to make it?
Looks amazing and getter better every time
You can spec or draw it or we can do it for you.
About a labor day.
Damn i must say nice work! got any head covers for a Prometeia?
Nice as always! Is that gpu mounting for the singlestage I built Raju?
yeah those beauties are mine bud... so now cascade on cpu and for benching sessions I can run the vision unit on a single gpu...
regards
raja
Ssilencer can u tap a few holes to mount some of these in the enclosure you are making for me:

I have some CAD drawings done for a prometeia, but getting a time slot at a machiene shop here is Big $$'s
Most of the facilities around here are tied up w/ Government contracts atm.
so making a few evap enclosures is at the bottem of their list unless we order lots of 1000.... :P
Same here
anyway, this enclosures and our evaps are made on a lathe and requires craftsmanship, and not in sausages machine...
That's why I don't like when your colleague from the other forum saids he can do it better easily when he don't even know how this ones are made.
None of our evaps or enclosures are the same, all of them has little touches to make them unique, and that costs time and money.
hmmm im sure this has been covered... but i don't quite see the point in a cool looking thing that will be covered with neoprene, but before you condensate-proof it it looks awsome!
These do NOT get covered in neoprene ;)
Sorry Richard, it is just that I'm getting tired of too much -bull-sh€t.
I don't have nothing against them.

Now the real Deal:

I got also my new "Sspacers" mounting kit for our kits:

As soon as I get a mother I will post a mounting guide .
On the other notes. I'm back from the hospital, my daughter had to be on emergency surgery, she's is ok now, but has to stay there for a pair of days.
Hey Ssilencer,
Hope things are going okay and your daughter is doing okay. Not much really but here is a dancing elephant for her
:eleph:
I've got to order soon. It's getting scarly good now! I'm still confused how your evap worksand whats the best out there.
Them screws to go in the back on the mobo side not better being lat cap style and a philps as well? Looks a little wood screw too me. Also any springs on here to stop over tightinging at all?
There any back plates on these by the way?
Thanks Pete, she is better now, still in the hospital but fine, it was appendicitis but we get her at time. I'm at home feeding the dog and the cat and checking msgs, going back there later, I spent the night in a hard sofa as my wife got the extra bed for her and our other baby daughter.
Yes, the screws for the motherboard side was there just for the pic, as I got the spacers 5 minutes before the pic and I was just testing all of them to see if they was well made, it will use philips screws, and the top bolt was made in alu, I think it looks great.
We are not big fans of springs on IHS processors, screws are good for "ihs less" procs but not needed at all with current procs as you will break your mobo before crashing the proc as the ihs can witstand about 60 pounds of pressure iirc, but anyway, yes, you can use springs if you want :)
On the other side, the only springs that really work as we want has to be custom made too, calibrated for a given pressure, a normal spring it's just a pos for our application and that are the springs you usually get in any watercooling or evap kit out there.
Yes, I always ship our kits with backplates included and insulation
i hope your daughter gets better
may i ask what is the liquid in post #140 third pic? looks uber cool in uv
Thanks
And I don't know, it is one of the Gray mole's units, Messiah Khan one.
I so what one of these but i have no idea what evap to go for at all what so ever.
I know how i'd like to light up this encloser but i duno ifit can be done as all the other i have seen look nasty with wire everywhere
The enclosure looks uber pimp (great)!!!!!! As far as the wires for the lighting, I will use sleeving so the wires blend in to the backround. I am not sure where the holes for the lighting are (do not see them in the pic).
Thanks for the great work and my prayers are with your daughter and your familiy.
Amazing work Silencer! I saw your post over at OCF as well. Might give you a ring if I decide to go vaphase this summer.
I like it in black, just my opinon as I'm not a fan of lights. They look good though.
Looks for the cables on the post nš140 in pics 1 and 3...
Also, for the guys that asked for holes for leds, there is a channel around the base of the enclosure to stealth the cables inside.
AFAIK Johann and Gray Mole are the guys that already tried most kinds of evaps, look for their oppinion on ours...
@Darthbeavis
Thanks man, my daughter is great now, I'd just came back to the hospital and I hope she will be in home tomorrow.
And of course I'm glad you liked the enclosure, the holes for the leds are placed so they will light up best, you will see...
@Eightballrj
Thanks very much and don't worry my ring is always ready ;)
@Shalamay
There are some enclosures in black, and I'm now thinking on my own special enclosure, made in polished and anodized aluminum...
Anodizing is nice, never fades, changes color or anything else. I would bet that would be a nice looking enclousre.
sorry for bringin up an old thread, but i have some isseus with mounting the enclosure.
like you can see in the pic the outer edge of the enclosure is hitting some caps (caps?) on the top side of the asus commando mobo, which is making contact between cpu and evap horrible..
so a new mobo it is (no way im cutting up the pretty enclosure ;)), but im having trouble picking one. the dfi lanpart boards seem best regarding clearance, but the 680i is having trouble reaching 450+ fsb and the rd600 board got some memory issues and other stuff which is not making me like it.
so i was wondering what boards you guys use with the acrylic enclosure and have enough clearance to make a good contact.
thanks.
cut off the caps . . .u probably don't need them anyways
The new models have more distance between the base of acrylic and the base of the evap to solve this problem.
Lamentation that ssilencer is hozpitalized to be able to clarify better since my English is very bad.
Regards.
@itor, te mandé PM.. por favor leelo
in english:
@itor, I have send you a PM, please check it out
De-solder the caps and re-fit on the back, Hypro did to an Abit bord as it's covered in caps sodding thing
i understand what you're saying, not sure if i wanna change holddown/evap again though, barely used this one..
ssilencer should stay in the hospital as long as needed i think, family goes before hardware. and if you're reading this i'd like to wish you and you're daughter the best.
dont think i wanna compare my soldering skills to hipro's but ill see how far i can get ;)
thanks for the replies. ill be busting some caps i guess :p:
Is ssilencer still at the hospital with his kid?
nope, his kid was said to go back home :D
I think this is ssilencer himself in the hospital :S
Ok, Back to life, I was hospitalized on Friday night (got a pneumonia), now at home and without cigarettes anymore.
So sorry lasts shipments will take a pair of days more
Dude glad your ok man.
Glad to hear your on the mend mate, just take it easy for a few days to fully recover, i am sure guys hear will understand why there delivery's are a little late.
All the best for a speedy recovery.
Yea same here mate take it easy for awhile.
Thanks guys, I appreciate it
Anyway, I got the spacers back, some of them chromed, some zincked and some gold zincked, I will take some pics later when I get the "Ultimate" enclosure kit here.
You don't have to change your enclosure, you just need a new insulation piece in the back of the evap to let it extrude a little more to clear the caps, so, measure the height of those caps, send me a pm with that measures and we will make a new insulation piece to clear them from the enclosure.
Thanks
Did you got your package?
Hey man i will smoke an extra :banana::banana: for you! I'm young still so can kinda get away with it. Hope thing pull through man, you seam to have a 2nd home at the hospital
Have you checked yet if they have wi-fi or gigabite lan? If the doy we'll move you in there and have a collection service for picking up of deliverys etc.
I hear the drugs for bed sores are good these days as you won't want to move!
Can i come stay at your when i have my new pins fitted, wonder if my E111 will cover me staying at this Hopsital

Amassing work there mate, great job on a very nice looking enclosure.
i say the same really amazing work, u must have laid down some time for this, really professional..
:eek2:
Sspacers. :D Nice one dude.
They look awesome.
You turn phase changing into a fine art and are one of the best at it!
Thanks guys!
All merits goes to @itor
Except for the Sspacers :D
Ssilencer where u at bud?
Praz Classic "FA" enclosure kit
http://img514.imageshack.us/img514/4...52smalloe2.jpg
Anxiously awaiting this. I'll have pics when I receive it.
Thanks
Ssilencer
Very nice!
Team Next Gen has the package!!!!!!! I am so excited, I cannot hide it . . .I am about to lose control and I think I like it . . .ooooo hoooooo.
***Yes, oldie and not goodie song
Wow!
That was fast!
I checked about two hours ago the tracking and didn't even saif that the package was in the states!
got it fine?
Also, V2V3 sent me a msg and I tried to reply him but none of all my msgs reached him, tell him to use a newer version of msn :P
Give me his mail I want to chat with him
MSN has a fault on it. problem mainly lies in MSN live.
Plus MSN network is overloaded
Yeap :(
Anyway, V2-V3 already brazed the evap and getting ready to test on quad load.
I'm sure he will post some pics here later
That enclosure's awesome! When I finally get around to building a phase change system, I want one of these.
My vap will be done soon if V2-V3 stops drilling his fingers ;)
I hope so, he is not a world top renowned overclocker but it would be nice to have another confirmation that our evap keeps doing his job over quad cores and high loads:rolleyes: :shakes:
I have just read this whole thread and iam gob smacked at the quality and workmanship:clap:
I want one i want one i want one lol:yepp:
just thrown all my toys outa the pram:woot:
awesome Ss
They are rather nice aren't they :D.
Are they made on a CNC lathe?
I think they are made on a manual lathe
That is possible, but these days it must be so much hasstle making those little things on a manual lathe one after another. Machinists will do it obviously but most of the time these days stuff is done by CNC. Just curious :).
the guy has the lathe at home. IIRC he said that making em at a CNC would be much more expensive :)
Yes, they are made on a state of the art CNC Lathe, this one:
http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/7...0mediumcs3.jpg
 :ROTF:
This is pure craftsmanship, and REAL custom made enclosures and evaps, none of them are equal, all of them are great :)
You're wrong, it takes more than a day to make an evap kit in the manual lathe, so if we have to charge that it will be a lot more expensive than a cnc work.
You know @itor in person and you know how he works, he don't want to do a standardized evap, block, or whatever he do.
