There will always be exceptions to the rule. This can just be considered more of a guidline for the majority.
Sooooo getting ppl to READ and UNDERSTAND what they are READING is patronizing???? Then I'm pretty darn patronizing myself:clap:Quote:

Well anyway I hope most of you are happy as stephen which has been more than helpful and gone beyond and above what most members have contributed to this forum No longer wishes to be a part of XS.
I for one would take one valuable contributing member of this community over 10 non contributing information leaches.........

over 3000 chips eh? thats alot of chips. that would be 2.7 chips per day (chips per day rounded down, and rounded up to 3 years.)
i would like to know how you managed to thouroughly test almost 3 chips a day, every day, for three years (assuming from release of a64). and if its been less time. then that is more chips per day. interesting.:fact:

Wow you either can't read or can't comprehend. The chips are here on this very forum. the results are here on this very forum. And beyond that I weighed my calculation table according to the users experience. For instance I would weigh OPB's results as 100% where as a user with 10 posts i've never heard of that talked like he knew not what he was doing would get weighed in at 50-75%Quote:

That particularly blows...Quote:

A few bad apples ruin it for the normal people... seen it many times in my life
Ture, but you will get an awful lot closer to that level of financial prowess if drop the urban lingo and get ready to think about what you want to do with your life (I don't mean jst moving out of momma's house either).... FYI, I am referring to your sig with horrible usage of the English language.Quote:

even though i am not how you think i am, its still pretty sad on your part, how you stereotype a particular group of people as the way you did without having any more knowledge into their life than a nickname and a sig. congrats on getting on my block list, tool.
By golly Dice i think your on to something. He doesn't understand because there is a language barrier. I know how to explain it now.
YO DOGGG yah you my homeboyyyyyyy you take all these other hardcore gangstuuuurs with mad scrilla and you take theyre results and you add it together like you was counting mad scrilla yah dig.
BTW i actually live in the ghetto but my street slang and street attitude stays on the street.

First impressions are very important, you don't EVER get a second chance at one.
While I may have been wrong about my homey up there, my opinion was based on my impression from his name, his avatar, his sig, and his posts. We are all hiding behind computer monitors just banging away on our keyboards with the anonymity afforded us by our on-line persona which we present to this forum in the form of our handles, avatars, and sigs.... think about it and you can easily arrive at the same conclusion that I did. Even if it may be wrong, I was guided to that point by something...
Well for one lets just say i don't think Stephen is rich and being that the cpu's he gets can not be gotten at the time of release that makes him invaluable.
As far as racism goes let me give you a definition.
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:- A person that no matter what race or color is an ignorant mofo.
BTW my best friend is black and i still roll through the hood with my boys even at 31, One of my buds is locked up for 15 years by the feds i visit him weekly to put money in his account. You know what I wouldn't give it up for anything because these people are real. If they don't like you they say it straight up, they don't talk behind your back................
Sorry chew*, didn't mean to ruin your thread.
Yeah! To everything everyone said. I hate you all.
So about this info you have gathered Chew or whoever wants to take credit for it.
You say these effects are more pronounced by supercooling. How did you deduce this from all the CPU's here? Most are on water or air so the effects would be less. Have you decided that the difference is still noticable at "room temperatures" but to a lesser extent?
This is a serious question.
No biggie I'm more bummed at the forums loss of stephen. Threads can be replaced, Valuable members can't
Yes its is noticable to a lesser extent. Just need to look for users and how far they can go on air water/ stock voltage with n chips versus t.Quote:

Oh one other thing. The first week thing seems odd. 0501 0601, etc. While I don't doubt your data I can see no logic behind this one. AMD isn't going to sit on inventory accumulating good chips. In fact I work in the industry and if a K8 cycle time is 45days or so then you start making those chips in Oct, Nov. Usually when the most mistakes happen, everyone is thinking about the holiday, short staffed, pushing wafers through just to hurry home. I find this one interesting, or at least trying to find some logical reason as to why or if has just been chance the last 2 years.
Thanks for the reply.
I think it may have to do with recalibrating the fab equipment every so often and as far as the day of the week code i would tend to think XPMW would be possibly friday where everyone is in a hurry just to go home for the weekend and speed binning doesnt get done as thorough.......Quote:

i guess the subtly of the line in my sig is lost on some people.
Wow! I stayed out this thread as to not get into the fray, but I can’t pass on this… As we all know, since we’re in front of a monitor and don’t have the luxury of seeing facial expressions, body language, and whatever, our post get interrupted many different ways. I know for certain in the 3 years I’ve been here that I ended up with a rep of being a smart ass although that was never my intent nor is it me...Quote:

Man, I feel like I'm at [H] or something! Can't believe the way some of you are acting. And driving Steven away from the forums is just totally wrong. There are very few people that I actually listen to on this forum, who have good reasoning and knowledge on overclocking, and it is now less one.
Thanks guys! This forum is now substantially dumber...
No your absolutely correct. The cpu's he gets aren't the only reason that makes him invaluable. His knowledge is also invaluable. I just merely stated one reason although there are many and at the time of typing I was kinda irked. I think you can understand that. Btw you missed this post by me.Quote:

OK this thread has gone waaaay off topic and I have seen a few posts that deserve a ban but I am going to let it go for now. Please get this back on topic or I'll close the thread and then hand out some warnings and bans:)
I've made a new post here for those wishing to bid s7e9h3n good bye.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...01#post1342901
I would suggest to those of you that wish make a post there say how much of a help he was and how much you appreciated his help. I would also suggest those of you who have nothing nice to say put a sock in it.
Now at this point i request this thread be locked..........
