1) You don't have anything I'd want. I got rid of my P2's back in the late 90'sQuote:

In you I only see the COW...
Please, please, please tell me your not taking me to serious in here. It is just our standard taunting, which we more or less inherited from the old days with our 'fights' with KWSN! (the Knights Who Say Ni!). It is just to get a bit of friendly competition at the project during our stampede.Quote:

I don't know the history tbh, apart from there was a pause of a couple of months before XS started. So I've kind of missed the meteoric rise.Quote:

Almost as much as his free Sunday phone minutes :D
[trask talk] I don't have enough time to give you :cow:s the sheet you deserve! [/trask talk]
(Dang can't think of any good razzing stuff for you guys ATMoment )
If all do their best we may all benefit someday :fact:
:toast: to All the warriors :woot:
That is so sigged, Mikee
DPC used to run 1 or 2 project in the beginning (RC5), but because of FrontPage postings at our site (tweakers.net) DPC grew a lot, leading to a lot of members with different interests in DC. Other projects were sought, members joined different projects and DPC managed to grow even more. Today the DPC are one of the bigger (if not one of the biggest) communities in the DC world, competing with other teams like Free-DC, Ars Technica, Anandtech and some more.
Most members of DPC participate in only 1 project at the time, but there are a lot of subteams as well, who divide their total power over a couple of projects at the same time. One of those teams is Team Switch, who are quite famous in the DPC community, for they have enough power to compete with the big subteams within DPC, but (as their name suggests) switch quite regularly between the different projects (with the complete subteam at the same time), never staying much longer than a month or 2 at the same project.
Well, there's a bit of history and explaining how the DPC works in general. :)
What, no more taunts from the enemy?
Feet hurt too much from the little wooden shoes?
Not enough wind in the windmills to power your computers?
Did your water break?
No sleeping in line at the slaughterhouse :stick:
I'll admint something: Seeing how they have gotten ~100 or so new members in the past few days has shown that they arent kidding around. I think we would all like to see a fight where it comes to the last update to see who wins. If 300k daily is acheived by other side, I'll give them a big:up:
Jeez, I talk to the guy once, maybe twice and I get harassment?:slap:Quote:

DPC keeps saying they don't buffer during the 'running of the bovine' so the guys have to lighten their load today and become more nimble.
Watch where you step today :stick:
Why do you guys keep thinking we're going to do massive dumping?
While it is true we love to do MegaFlushes (we nearly invented the term), I doubt it is really going to happen today. Maybe just a few will do a bit of dumping just to empty there buffers a bit, but for a stampede it's totally useless to do massive dumping all at once. If we want to do a MegaFlush, we'll organize one, but it won't happen during this stampede, I guess.
