Great looking cooler with even greater results! :clap:

Allready doing loads better then my BT with way more volts.. Opty 165 270x9 1.35v, 52c load..:(

Would be cool if I could make one of those on my own though. :p:

That's waaaay to high for those clocks and voltages. I ran my 144 on 1.67v, stock cooler and it never broke 56 degrees at load.

I should of added that it loads at 38c when the side pannel is off and the A/C on. My room is probably 80-82f right now..:p:

I want a dual-Micro now..:D

Still, having to take off the side panel and have a/c on? You sure it's mounted properly? BTW, I can't wait to see the quad-micro if it's made :D

Ehh.. you know there is a "little" bit of differece between a singlecore and dual-core CPU in heatproduction?! ;) Try running a DC@1,62V with the stock cooler dual prime

Yes, I know, but he's running 1.35v at lower clocks with a big typhoon. As for room temperature, I don't know. Wasn't cold by any means. CPU idle was around 42-43 degrees.

I have no need for that extra fan on the cooler, but yes it performs better with two..

This was an extremly hard mod to finish, lots of details and adjustments. It tok me quite some time to work. But if you really want one, it will only cost you aprox. 200$, and then I`m real nice :slapass:

No quad-micro :( I`m doing a watercooling project in the weeks to come, a fanless setup mentioned earlyer in this tread :)

The dual-micro will be placed in my bookshelf as a pice of art, modding art that is.. :toast:

Your going to get people cringe at that $200.00 figure but if you add up the cost of 2 new micro's then the time to make the dual from them it's very reasonable..I'm just tring to figure out how to make the one I have work on a Asus CT-479 adapter with a Dothan cpu...:D
Wondering if it would( a single) work better than the zalman 7000 that's on it now.

Got dozen of PM`s from people that wanted to buy one of my chipset coolers some time ago. Passive coolers that still lets you OC hard is what people want, and it can be done!

14hour`s total, that`s with the disasembling of the coolers to, this was quite time comsuming.

For those of you that wait for the BT`results, this is coming, but I have little time for modding right now as we have a lot to do on my daytime job right now (I work in a cooling service company)

CPU cooler

Amazing job with air cooling. Either my cpu temp diode has something wrong with it or my thermal paste is crap I am lucky to see 109 on my CPU....at all. This is with a truck heatercore out my window when it's 27 degrees outside. Normally hovers around 135

Yes it`s mostly passive. Only two fan`s for the whole system, the one in the PSU and the one on the videocard (NV silencer 5 v.3) as i just have gotten me a 7900GT.
