Frames it is a limiting factor of the Nvidia chipset for a good SLI board you are probably stuck to hoping that the 975x actually manages to support SLI.

Yah man My buddy wants me to build him a pc here in jan and im thinking of trying to get him into one of these puppies and amaybe a single 1800XT to see where I want my next rig to go to..
He only has 1200 to blow though.. gonna be tough for all top notch components, im gonna try to replicate fuggrs rig, if 1200 will allow it..
that's gonna be hard, assuming the cpu will cost ~$1000, and the X1800XT costs $600 :(

There's the highest AMD cmark I could pull. Neat bench for multi thread :) Can I see the hdd tab? You can just run the hdd test by it's self. 10k seems kind of low for raptors in RAID 0 when I get 8k with a single raptor...

I found the tests vary a lot like 3d01 so I kept rerun

Nice crotale. Is that chip cooled with a regular vapochill LS or Mach II? Is that cpu-z shot from the P5WD2 or another motherboard?

I've been benching with a cascade for 3 hours now and I couldn't get it to clock much better than with the single stage unit.
Afterwards, I found out that I had really bad contact with the CPU.

and ghz, yeah, afaik its 16x 4x, wich is a problem because in supertiling one card is constantly slower than the other, not much, but i think its pulling down the overall performence.

Starting new thread for X1800XT PE Crossfire, both cards at 700/800 on 975X chipset.
I am back on the P5WD2-E Premium. The gigabyte board does not oc as good as the asus. The G1-975 will get a turn under cascade as the P5N32. I tried to fire up the P5N32 with bios 0202 and it failed to boot.
I've the same problem with my p5wd2 (non-premium), using bios 0301 and 0402 (beta)!!! I've a pentium d 950 and vdroop, vdd and mch mod @ p5wd2 ;)Quote:
