whoaa... yours got Micron ICs on, no doubt about that. :)
looks like they are using mixed-bag chips. i have one in my dad's setup, it posted at 250mhz cl3, but i think i'll be able to use that module in my box soon :). it's not oc'd now, but it posted at 250 so i'm hoping for stability at 240. it also appears to use uccc. uccc isn't all that high end and is used in some other value ram. it occasionally clocks well and is speed binned accordingly. in my local shop, there are about 20 sticks of 1gb uccc, and not all of them are even rated for 200mhz.
ran memtest overnight #5 @ 237 , 250 loops no errors. Next step is 242 tonight at same volt and timings. Fingers crossed.
bandwith at 237 is 3300 mb/s, not bad me thinks. Can you tell which type of micron are these??
....nice ea6gka ...unfortunatelly i haven't any idea what could be...:(
..i took 2x512 Kingston value for a friend...and....its micron..:D
i haven't test them yet...but i'll do it tonight.
Has anyone experience with the MT -5B G ??

thats usually the way it is with products oriented towards the value/budget segment of the market. :)Quote:

Well i bit the bullet and ordered a 2x1gbNT kit from a store in aus for AU$269 including shipping...
i was going to go with 2x1gb hynix DT-43 but i have read about users who have had problems with them etc..
cant go wrong i hope :P
I just got some 1gbnt sticks in from newegg and it looks like they are micron chips (they have those weird semi-circles cut out on each end of the chips)...
What timings and speeds should I expect to get (assuming not very good *220-230ish*)?
OK I am going to answer my own question...
2x G.skill 1gbnt
Micron like chips
I've got the memory benching right now at 255 @ 3-3-3-8 2.7v (well not actually me but my dad who is in ATL *I'm in Pittsburgh, PA, but I was down there 3 days ago...* 260 might be possible :) :) :)

Mine I've only fiddled with using my current overclock.
So it was either 235 or 217, 235 crapped out at 3-4-4-8 so I did 217 with 2.5-3-3-6.
It makes my system now noticeably faster then when I had the 2 x 512mb OCZ Value VX BH-5 chips in, they wouldn't overclock for crap but would do timings of 2.5-3-2-6.
:slapass:
Well guys i received mine the other day and have been doing some testing...
i need help with my A64Tweaker settings though..

I am interested in getting a pack of 2X1GB GSKILL NT ram, too. I wuld also like to ask you guys the following questions before I buy them.
1. I got a DFI SLI-DR and a Sandie 3700. Which ram slots should I use with the NT.
2. What are some good BIOS setting and timings for the NT RAM for SLI-DR and Sandie? No OC intended.
3. I also got a pair of 2X512 GSKILL GBGH (Winbond UTT). What are some good BIOS settings and timings for them on SLI-DR and Sandie?
Thank you very much.
1. You should use 1 - 3 or 2 -4 slots to get ram running dual-channelQuote:

3. I have also a pair of Winbond UTT mem. UTT runs nicely @ 2-2-2-5 250MHz.
