They do that when they have extremely limited quantities on hand.Quote:

Got the chips out a day sooner and asked for $170 more

Regardless of what you've decided to call it, I'll be getting one from a local shop for nearly $100 less on Friday. :toast:Quote:

new siggy...
looking good, especially seeing that usb and all that seems to be up to par
now as well - thanks to the uli chipset. hey didnt nv buy uli or was it the
big red one? just wondering :)
and for 170eur it's not that expensive or rather it isn't more than other top
end dual pci-e boards...
I like that new sig of your's man :toast:Quote:

What manufacturing process did they use for RD580?

OMG Anandtech pulled the chipset review! This is like the 3rd time in less than a month!
Sounds like they are having some Psychological issues about confidence..:p:Quote:

I am so over anandtech here.
I've just found out that RD580 is built by using the 110 nm process.
Wow, Rodzilla, your new sig is right!

another terrible review by them, they didnt even use the same graphics cards for the video benchmarks, its sad becuse imho anand used to do the best reviews in town.
any word on the dfi board being sighted out in the wild (pricegouging jungle)
yet? any word on pricing?
the asus is available for 170 over here, but it looks ass.. asus yellow/green
combo (yuck).
DFI will be a tad late....seeing as neither DFI or ABit have it on their webpages. I reckon specs are being finalize or something.

May not be such a bad thing as it seems the Asus unit still needs some BIOS tweaking. Apparently at least AT tested with a beta BIOS that's newer than the release BIOS. See here:

edit: bah, don't mind me
Price gouging jungle is right. The online shops that I've found it range from $245-$280. ExcaliberPC has it listed on Froogle for $205 yet they are charging $245. Of course they sold out immediately after getting them yesterday.
Nope, its the x1900XT in both cases... which makes it even more interesting.Quote:
