Staropramen is the best around. Not sure if it was differant deg. but 11 was my all time favorite. ;)

Now bk to topic. Real nice OC on that cascade that evap is just plain huge!! Or is it heavily insulated?

The Insulation is about 1cm

on picture the Cascade was turned on for about 20 min. Then turn off. The Iceformation was solid for 6 hours at room-temperature

Danish dynamite!....pushing it to the limits and running with who I think are the best overclockers in the world(Jp) :toast:
Been dying to see someone push this setup to the limits in 3d.
That cascade is a monster tom! I have mad respect for the overclockers that do their own cooling.

Cold Bug is one reason why cascade is better than ln2. Few years ago it was littlebit different. In those times cpus loved cold so ln2 was the best way to froze your cpu. One reason why cascade is better than ln2 is that it's very difficult to keep the temperature stable if you use ln2. When you use cascade you don't have to think about adding ln2 to a container. Just turn the compressor(s) on, wait that temps are going down and have some fun :banana:

You couldn't be more wrong

Intel doesn't cold bug
-120C is FARRR to cold for 99% of the AMD chips out there
ln2 lets you have -19c to -190c if you have a good unit. Much better variable temps.

Is that so? Sorry my bad :) Some one told me that thing on muropaketti's forum(heya FINLAND). I just thought that this same problem is with every cpu. But is that -120C loaded or unloaded temperature? I just wondering that if it is unloaded it won't keep your cpu that cold, so that's why I prefer cascade that ln2

Actually I have heard most of the 670's will not boot up lower then -120 but once in windows I have had mine as cold as -160. ;)

I have sub -120 loaded at 2 volt full load both AMD and Intel.

I have no favorit, only the fastest is best!!! FX55 was nice. FX57 bad Intel well 7 Ghz is not sufficient to do 3Dmark better than 50k.

for me cascade is best because I can keep it more stable. In most bench records I have to messure tweak and try again. Thats hard with LN2.

that is what I try to say earlyer when that some dood ask that why cascade is better that ln2. I wish that I have enough time and experience to built cascade or autocascade. Maybe I'm too old for this oc stuff.

-120C loaded... Thats a one of a kind cascade. Chilly1 and even PCice can't touch that. It's 2 stage right? Cap tube or expansion valves?

IIRC it is made with two times Danfoss SC18 and expansion valve on low stage. They tried to make it with captube, but ended up shortening it way too much.
I agree it is one of the most extreme coolers ever built :)

I think he also said it was pure R1150 on the second stage and reached something like -50 on the first stage with 1000w load.

I know he is not happy with tho prototype - his wife complains a bit over 3 cascades at home, and it only does -112 loaded :D
