Thats cray man :woot:
it was nice if they have the multi semi locked like athlon64
so the multi is fullylock'd ? no x9 multi in opteron 146 ?Quote:

my venice @ 2.55 @ 1.475v, fully loaded (toast+prime+superpi32m), goes to only 40~42 with only a "simple" Zalman 7700 AlCu and Artic Ceramique.
Wonder where i can get one of these amazing Opterons here in portugal... that must be impossible... Does anyone know where to get them in Europe? (preferably in E.U. countries)
CPU City are taking preorders in the UK.Quote:

2pid me :P the part numbers of these opterons are OSA146DAA5BN ( oem ) and OSA146BNBOX
Awesome results. Can't wait to see some of these hit the shelves in Canada. It will be nice to have some 1024KB L2 alternatives. Great single cores to say the least..
PM computersmsa, he's got a bunch of them in Germany.Quote:

If the die changed and the results are no longer going to be the same then that REALLY sux.
I guess Ill still be going Dothan after all.
I thought we had an AMD that could potentialy compete but if the rest wont clock this high then Dothan is still better,IMO.
Wardog
Im going FX-57
Yeah, dude... almost a month I've been waiting now...Quote:

It is very difficult when these companys give ship dates and then when the date rolls around they push it back furhter.
If they just came out and said hey its going to be 3 months then I could plan for that.
But when they keep towing everyone along it makes me think gettinga 3000+ venice might be the way to go.
Maybe these will be available by Christmas LOL.
Anyway Im hoping someone got some shipping info by now.
Thanks
Wardog
I had a 144 on order since 10/4 and just canclled it last week. They kept chaing the ETA like you said wardog. I ended up with a 146 from ewiz that should be here tomorrow.
