Could you comment this result. I have no idea if it's good or bad.
Opteron 148 CABYE 0540 FPBW, cooled with R404a modded Mach 1.

you should be under 21m with those MHz
I would say:
Thanks for your opinion guys. :)
I'll have to tweak my mem a little bit more.
18.04 32m
Yonah@3,1 air cooled
exspect 17 min coming soon

moonman here is what i meant as i finally got some decent temps going for my unitQuote:

Which gas do you use in your SS?
My Mach modded with R404a can't keep it up anymore. Temps on evap are rising up to -35 under load.
R290 which will soon be R404 or similar and kyle evap ;)
i'll be going for 3.6GHz :)
3.6GHz would be very nice.
No signs of cold bug ?
335MHz HTT is my cold bug.............with lower temps that might get worse i don't know but fingers crossed it doesn't
heheh ima dosta slovenaca na ovom forumu :p:
I avstralaca isto :toast: ;)
IHS on or off?? If off, maybe give S7's (or mikeguava's or OPB's) idea thing a try. It was a peice of thicker copper to warm temperatures a bit. It worked with his godly opty.Quote:

oh no need that HTT limit was from -30/-45 so i just want better temps....(lower that is).......i think this chip will manage -45/-50 idle no probs.....we'll see :)Quote:

I'd love to see the result of Yonah with both cores running instances of superpi32m
These scores are truly amazing - I am in awe of the power, good job so far :)
I really want to see the scores of boths cores running together.
Mav
blimey they are all so fast , i feel lowly even though i have a nice oc on my p4 2.4c at 3.025ghz at 42m 23.516 :o(
I think when i get some money saved up im gonna upgrade bigstyle lol
Here are my 32m results - completed in June 05:

@maverik: here my 2 x 32M
Maybe lost a few seconds because of the taskmanager, but only approx 3,5 min behind...;)
I started the 2nd one approx 5 s later then the other.
And I´m shure I lost a lot of seconds because of swaping data to the HD.
@ Stummerwinter
That really is an impressive dual run score - to see it run as sweet as that is nothing short of brilliant- great job and thanks for sharing :)
What sort of temps are you experiencing fully loaded on both cores?
I just can give you temps for r@h, but @ 100 % load...;)
AIR: approx 50°C for both cores - with Zalman 7000B-AlCu
Water: approx 30°C for both cores
Both with AS5
But to be honest, the temps are too low, either in bios, or with this tool posted @ XS.
Right now:
29°C in WXP
33°C measured between cooler and CPU
Those temps are just about right for these cpu's ;) . They output so little heat it's eerie. For example - during a 32m run on my autocascade, temps on the evap temps actually continued to drop from -75C -> -80C :eek:Quote:

No Steven, I think you've just got a tendency to run fast for your speeds. :p
In all seriousness check out the timings. I was just explaining why his time increased by four seconds with two instances.
Why v1.4 btw? Is 1.5 indeed slower?
That's the only version I had :p:Quote:

Oh yeah - this was on air.....
I just recognized, that the HD is working much more compared to a single run. But you´re right on that.Quote:

Which HD do you use? I think, I don´t lose 2 min only by the timings.
This is my FX60 running two instances both started within 1s of each other, clearly with the cold bug I could have a bandwidth issue, no excuses though Yonah pummels the FX60:
http://www.extremeprometeia.com/foru...7&d=1146306445
Your HD should not be working much at all during Spi runs as it's a test of floating point calculations on the cpu. There's very little/no need for the cpu's to access the HD's during the bench.Quote:

I use a 74G Raptor and you're right, you shouldn't be 2 minutes slower ;).....
I use a 74GB Raptor too...
But especially at the 2 x 32M-run, the HD is working like hell!
At that run I didn´t tweak OS, maybe that´s the reason.
The OS is fresh, no add software (except drivers and AOpen-stuff) installed.
Neither is mine ;)Quote:

I'm not sure....is it possible to do a run at the exact same speeds/mem timings as my run so it's easier to compare?Quote:

Nice clock buddy... :) How high was HTT improvement with single stage?
Thanks. :) Single-stage cooling and Vmods were worth an extra 20MHz on FSB. Will try DICE soon.
Might as well play here myself. ;) Xavier, this is the dark side we're talking about, no HTT here. :D
@sierra: that's a pretty good imporvement! Nice to know!
@gautam: oops bro; my bad... I've thought FSB while writing HTT :D Nice run indeed!

The second SPi in corner I open as soon as first one completes to help keep from c-bugging out. I run with SysTool running to keep on temps. After it calms down I can close it.

Very 'cool', nice job boble76.
Thanks to all Team Skootterit members, (from me) chiefly to Dani because this is his ex FX-57.
We didn't drive SP-tests very hard, because our point was made some high 3DMarks points, and we did I think.
I forgot to take a 4G suiside-shot, never remember that but next time I'll drive more SP-tests.

Nice result, gocchin. Dry ice?
Yup... but I was stuck at 430fsb... the board would not go higher no matter what I tried... could be the max for that bad axe....Quote:

Very, very well done gocchin.
Thanks guys... yeah unmodded which is probably why I couldn't get much out of the Super Talents with only 2.2v.... with much tighter timings I think I could have gone low 12's.... :)
Asus P5W DH is faster than the Bad Axe so far.... 19 seconds faster using 30mhz less :)
