You should cut your losses, rma and try a different one. Sounds like a bum board.

I am 99.999% certain that the main issue with this bios is USB keyboards don't work. maybe some usb mice, but I haven't seen one post where a usb keyboard works with this bios. Prove me wrong. Anyone?

Exact same thing I was thinking, it looks like the issue seems to largely be affecting keyboards connected via usb ports.

You know, USB has been a problem since the introduction of the boards. They are very picky with which USB periph's you put on it. My Logitech Momo Force Feedback steering wheel still refuses to work with my DFI since its introduction...

This bios sux!! get a bunch of craps on the screen and can't load up the xp anymore, glad I have the bios savior and switch back to 510-2 immediately. :slapass:

Hmm, I just loaded up Winflash (same copy of the program I used to flash from 510-1 to 615 official) and it now tells me I don't have an award bios onboard anymore, anyone else encounter this?

I suppose I need to dig out the floppy drive if i want to upgrade again (or burn cds :/ )

i flashed to 6.15 bios and no problems,i use wireless ps2 keyboard and wireless usb mouse.

Will flash to 615 this afternoon. Hopefuly, the problems of the USB won't happen to me. Anyway, I am on ps/2 mouse and keyboard.

thats odd. you sure you gave it a 'full' flash?

i remember seeing a similar screen on the 3xx's, when my drivestrengths were not too desirable by the bios. leave them on auto for now. things have changed a bit in this bios, as per rgone @ dfi-street. however, the same ds's i used on 510, work here.

Same here, My MX3100 DUO had to be downgraded to PS2.

so where do we stand with this bios........has it fixed anything or has it broken more things.

Please everyone...let us now what this has fixed or broken.

works fine for me - A3 revision chipset. Did anyone notice that the 32byte Granularity setting went from (disabled 8 bursts) to (disabled 4 bursts) and from (enabled 4 bursts) to (enabled 2 bursts)?

Wonder if this affects performance...

It's so broken, that DFI has pulled it off the bios download pages

Glad to see that some people have had their cold boot problems resolved - at the expense of USB for some...

Anyway, for those with the cold boot problem, you now need to email DFI directly, see Rgone's post.

Try to re-enter the MAC adress if you lose internet connection after you flash bios ... You may clear the MAC address and cause the internet problem ...

A new BIOS has been released, 6/18, so users experiencing problems with 6/15 should give this new one a go instead...
