OPB, hows that 0435 with cascade?
We need an FX-55 v San diego back to back comparison so we can see what % improvment the tweaks have made in 3dmark, pifast etc.
Can anyone provide those ?
I get the feeling that by the time Fx-57 comes out 3Ghz on air will be fairly common and possibly 3050-3100.
Regards
Andy
Well Charlie hit 29XX with AIR, so that story is incomplete.
I was planning on building a phase-change rig...perhaps this is reason to go single-stage.
I'm also figuring that these chips are, in general, better overclockers than previous chips. So at -40c, these chips should clock perhaps as high as the previous chips, no? I'd figure that if not, the difference would be made up by the slight optimizations in this new core.
I'm aching for a 3700+ SD ;)
I wonder if FX-57 on single stage will pwn FX-55 on cascade.
It was sort of obvious that the cold bug was going to be present in the San Diego :(
diego. here i go!! who carries the cheapest diego?? 3 year warranty?
