I you're thinking of putting in WR's for different kinds of cooling in 3dmark...
You could do it like the max overclocks, with a overall plus categories like:
Air
Water
Tec-water
Dry Ice
Singel Phase
Cascade
What ir A-XP Mobile 2500+ , A-XP 2800 and Duron 750 record?
Yeah and soon it will lead to different types of heatsinks on air and stuff. Sorry but I'm going to keep it as it's.Quote:

Last time i posted, my correction were ignored.. Hmm, because they criticised your way of writing 5 different types of 3500+'s opposed to do all the Dothans in ONE category?
Well, i don't know, but have you thought about updating the Intel part of it? :) 19.9 sec is way old ;)
Post the results here then please. I think I wrote in the first line that if you want something else added post it or pm me.
Laptop: lucidchaos - dothan @ 2.66 http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=19366
31 sec superpi 1M
Since it has not been claimed.. How about 5Ghz on a P4 630..
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=19411
Edit: cooled with stock Vapo LS
You can change the frequency record of Dothan to 3741 MHz by TAM because it is in SuperPI record.
NiCKE^ you posted petervandamned score as a 3500+ it is a 4000+ though :)
hmmm think we have an new WR, ricky & pedro has been beaten. http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=19402

It sounds pretty awesome... Noname @ 400MHz 1:1 and noone knows him.. Perhaps this verification system is not 100% bug-free or he has struck gold with those noname RAM :)

Looks Like I just beat My Cpu speed record for a P4 630 and also the DDR2 bandwidth record :woot:
http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=20405
Does anyone know what the WR pifast at watercooling is?
I got 39.44secs.
Is it a bug since you can't see the ratio or the frequency?Quote:

I think yours would be hitting 10K with the same cpu speed and OS..
I also Saw a HUGE bandwidth jump when I set the Tras to 10..
IIRC cpu speed doesn´t affect memory bandwidth on Intel, because the memory controller is on motherboard instead of cpu...Quote:

But the BIG Factor in my scores is the OS. In win2003, There is a function Called "Lock Pages in Memory" which allows Sandra (or any program) To lock the same Memory pages for it's use Only as long as the program is open. This Makes a big difference.
I attached a Pic that shows Sandra's estimated Bandwidth efficiency.
"Lock memory pages" tweak helps but that only makes 150MB/s - 200MB/s difference, not this much: Sandra Buffered - 3-2-2-1 350FSB 1:1
You can´t defeat pure performance with any tweak ;)
btw. Just in case, I had to accomplish some counter measures:
New bios gives pretty good boost compared to older ones:
Corsair 5400UL - Sandra Buffered (Verified)
Corsair 5400UL - Sandra Unbuffered (Verified)
ps. tRAS 1 is pretty much faster than tRAS 10..
:slapass:
:D
all I can say is NICE,
I am the first to admit my Unbuffered scores are no where near yours
well, it is time to stop flooding this thread with our stuff and let some records get posted..
And all I can say is.. The P5wd2 premium is a great Mobo :toast:
Is this AV8 HTT World Record? :toast:
http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?ac...=post&id=60552
It could be, but with all the Dothan processors in -> 1 <- category, i don't think he'll compliment AMD with a WR for every MB.. Though it would fit well with his idea of 5 different classes for just one processor model.. :p: ;)Quote:

I can add different Dothan processors sure but then I want you to give me the WR of them. I'm always open for new stuffs but I might don't like some. But post dothan model and WR so I can edit the first post.

Dothan 730: Macci - 2944MHz http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=8570052
And now it's updated ;)
Strange I've never noticed this thread before  Heh, well since there's no current record for a 3200+ Venice, I guess you can throw mine up there for the time being. Toobad I didn't have time to test this cpu more. I know there was a little left in her ;) :

nice results s7e9h3n, as usual. I would have liked to see 3.5, although 3.4 isnt anything to sneeze at. Is that superpi stable.
Thx....no way is that superpi stable ;) You know, spi could have been possible, but the cpu's memory controller just was a POS. Here's the fastest I was able to run spi @ with this cpu:Quote:

oohh well, still pretty good. Since u get to try all these newer CPU's out(like X2 and others) whats the lowest SPI u ever got???
TBH, I really don't remember. I can tell you it's not in the 24's for sure mainly since I don't have the cpu's long enough to optimize all the timings. I basically throw the cpu in, test it a various timings with minor tweaks and then get rid of it ;) . In fact, this 3200+ was a cpu I purchased retail while waiting for my FX55 to return from RMA.Quote:

great job for updating the world record database

a couple of days ago i saw a 4000+ San Diego that will soon do a good jump from the current record now :P heehhe news soon ;)
Post it when you see a new WR ;)
That's the point... the WR has allready been beaten. but i hope to see some HUGE improvements... maybe with a bit of luck a big suprise for u all ;) heheQuote:

1gb (2x512Mb) PDP XBL PC4200 DDR2 ram
cooled with Vapochill LS modded..
and don't ask me why my Bandwidth is soo high, But I have ran it ten times and it never wavered more than 50 Mb/s.. :toast:

Congrats to The Stilt also.
I see that my 730 dothan is added to the list too.
Lets update it :D
Dothan 730: macci - 3343MHz
Updating..... Nice results macci, you're an evil man :D
I managed to out-do myself by 57.24MHz last night, so here's the new record:Quote:

You want me to add it or should I wait for the 3,5? ;)
I suppose you can just add it so it serves to boost my confidence. :D 3.5 is going to be tough.
Well I added it however :)
How about to add Celeron-M's to the list too NiCKE^?
Celeron-M 1300: lktuio - 2340Mhz http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y24...e/CeleronM.jpg
Celeron-M 1400: crotale - 3754Mhz http://www.nordiccrew.com/crotale/ocsm.jpg
P.S: The Celeron-M 1300 record Should be higher... but i only found this score
P.P.S: This is an INSANE 168% overclock :slobber:
Added Sesto Sento.
Dothan 740: NewBeetle - 3660 Mhz http://www.vr-zone.com/ocdb/data.php...l_or_amd=intel
3700+ (Newark): conrad.maranan - 3516.66 MHz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=22619
Congrats conrad very good! I'm going to update after this post.
NiCKE^ some corrections to the records... that 3500+ newcastle from |Ricky| it's not a newcastle, it's a clawhammer 0.13 CAA2C. The pic is bugged due to CPU-Z 1.27 version.
and some new records...
3200+ newcastle: .::Maddog::. & mosin_nagant - 3024Mhz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=22563
4000+ San Diego: Pedro Rocha - 3542Mhz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=21082
This is the 4000+ San Diego i was talking about a few post above... It has been done With a Silent Vapochill LS |Ricky| modded, and with only 1,75v.
Since then (04/06) Pedro did not posted any updates, so i put this score here for now...
I added the new records but can you please get Ricky to confirm it? Please
ok NiCKE^ i'll try to catch |Ricky| to confirm it.
three new results
3000+ Venice: The Doctor - 3364Mhz http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=19796
3500+ Winchester: Boogotop - 3271Mhz http://www.vr-zone.com/ocdb/data.php...tel_or_amd=amd
3800+ Newcastle: Shamino - 3201Mhz http://www.vr-zone.com/ocdb/data.php...tel_or_amd=amd
With these now all AMD cpu's have a record ;) hehehe
and an update...
P4 640: Maneshu - 5184Mhz http://img199.echo.cx/img199/3480/cpuz0co.jpg
