Nice, any 3dmark01 benches ? :D
For those who DOUBT I am LAME or CHEAT,
I will do as follow:
1. I owe bachus 16m super pi running between 3.4g~3.6g
2.Heux pifast
3. some 3D-bench
BUT, if I did that, what else you guys would say still?:D
You're not like that OPB. Those scores of yours are real for 3.7Ghz :D Other than you, who can scaled to 3.7Ghz benched stable? No one....well probly only 2 others in Japan and Italy.....also Charlie (here @ xs) :toast:Quote:

IF/when you do those benchies...do em for the fun factor, not for the "stop your whinin @ss &ull$hit" side of things. Those of us around have watched your climb up to the top.Quote:

I'm just curious if his setup breaks 9m00s... That's it ;)
Yeah, don't let those people "force" you to run the benchmarks. Your honest when it comes to scores, if they don't believe you than...o'well.Quote:

here is what I use my little rest time to do it with fun(I think I promise some to compare between TCCD running over 300 and BH-5 running over 280), this is just "little dessert" :D
Nothing tweak, just clean install of fresh win2k, x850xtpe is air-cooled.

:( I get mad, I get mad, I get mad............., only 12 x 275 on NEO2 with BH5 and still waitin' for my RMA'd DFI NF4 - myself feeling like a football player with a broken leg - have to watch the game without any chance to score a goal....... :toast:
Nice
38,4xx with the BH5 and tight timings vs 377xx with the looser TCCD. Both scores a phenom but thats why I love tight timings. Givin 20Mhz and still pulling ahead in the race.
Next time you're at it you think you could pull one off?Quote:

Kinda late on this thread. But OPB :slobber: amazing results. We know its real so :bananal: anyone who doubts you. Im speachless I know you could do it :toast:
Can you max out lobby high please?

but here is the second desert.
I think OPP was running 270x13:)
I definitely can still go up a bit but not today. I am really really tired.
Man, I hope I got another cascade to cooled my videocard.
X850xtpe is non-moded, all air-cooled.

3D stable @ 3.55GHz.... %$%#, I want a chip like that :slobber: Great stuff there, man
BTW... Kevin, I will have a challenge for ya very soon... Sit tight ;)

What next?
I'm surprised you havent broken 40,000 in 3D01 yet. With 3.5ghz FX-55, I would think that would bring it above 40K easy. BTW, is that score with your BH-5? If it is, I thought it was benchable @ 281??
I don't think he's tweaked it out yet...Quote:

Ok, this is my first Post and when i signed up this site i heard there was some hardcore OverClockers, but this more then i expected well done on the rig!
awesome memory clocks, amazing cpu speeds and one of the most genuine attitudes around.
well clocked and well earned OPB :toast:
should get exciting if you put a cascade on that video card i bet youll get the record
________
Amura
OPB and OPP need to work together :D

It's always my pleasure to have master like Charlie here. Man, I just dropped my fx55 and it got broken( 14 pins). :(
JJcom, I will need to get mature enough to work with King of OC. :toast:
I am still young. :D
oh no... can you repair the fx?Quote:

Sux to hear that happen to your gem.....it really does. :(
Funny story, I broke a pin off my 2.8C a good while back, and it didn't effect a single thing, I wish I would have taken a pic of which pin it was, cus it's been fine every since. :p:
NOOO, thats hoorible:eek:. Now I'm gonna have nightmares. If u want to, u could try this guy http://www.motherboardrepair.com/index.php?sec=procrep.Quote:

Perkam
Thank you for all you guys.
Perkam, I think AMD should do, have some friends send this to AMD.:D
it's not just " try fix"..it's really horrible. :(
http://img166.exs.cx/img166/6865/fx55025eu.jpg
dam, thats ul OPB, sure you cant RMA it ?
Nice scores none the less!
You can unsolder all the broken pins and solder replacements on. All you need is to track down the supplier of the raw pins. There aren't that many pin makers. Its just a thin PCboard with pins on the bottom, and the DIE soldered ontop and some resistor/capacitors soldered on. Simple "concept" actually. If the chip is a keeper....seriously... then put the effort in repairing it and DONT fk it up next time.
oh man!!! that just can't be OPB !!!
am i blind or all the pins are still in place but just bent a bit ???
EDIT: oh, I just looked closer at the bottom row... are they GONE ??? that sucks BIG time... sorry, OPB :(
Great overclock mate, shame about the chip.
OPB you have a PM :D
holst, Thank you very much to bring the hope to me.
PM Replied.
OPB
The bent ones don't seem to be too much of a problem...
Looks like you're missing some though, that would definitely cause me some trouble...
Good luck finding someone to repair them or getting an RMA from AMD whichever route you take. :)
;) Good luck to Your RMA Kevin - and much more luck to get a good clocker again.
The pic is horrible, so much damage just from one drop off the table? Looks like You had parked Your car on the chip...... :p:
:toast:
I think that supercooling the pins weakens them.
Several other phase changers have lost pins on there CPU's as well, although not quite that bad.
Bowman had some just fall off when he took the chip out of the socket.
But its not 100% dead yet... :D
 Really? Then there must be something wrong with the used material - I mean the pins are not plastic ore something so they should bare low temps at all............ :toast:Quote:

Does anybody know for sure?
Holst is right, I got an old 1700+ just use mach 2 then lost about 2 pins
Now that 1700+ become one of my CPU key chains.:D
I don't mind a 1700 as a keychain, but it's a little different when it's an
FX-55 :D
With that -100 going on maybe the froze off, maybe chilly will cover that problem under his warranty;)
An FX-55 keychain would be the ultimate status symbol. I don't think P.Diddy's Versace keychain could top that. ;)
Horses for courses.
That CPU definitely looks fixable to me. I've see much worse that got fixed. A jeweler should have no problem fixing it
I have no clue if there is any way of this working but would it be possible to put pins in the socket corresponding to the missing pins kind of like LGA? And for the bent ones just straighten them. I have no clue if this works but its just an idea. I'm sorry this happened to you.
Cpt Twitchy
No, that wouldn't work.
my cpu lost some pins too, 3 to be exact.( soldered 1 back on :p: )
cpu is still alive :D
your hart it beating hard when you see those pins crushed (cpu is good clocker too)
gx , great !
hmm the chip doesnt look that bad, i'm sure u'll be able to breath life back into that baby. Amazing oc results btw, congrats :slobber: ! And killer sword (although I love replicas; you can't actually use them, i tried that once on a old tree, tree was unharmed, replica sword wasnt ...)
the cip cam back alive and the story is here.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=58444
Man that sucks bro - Sorry to see that happen to yah! I had a p4 3.2 wich is now on my key chain (funny conrad mentioned that).
- I believe there made out of gold..no?
