but this goal was achieved by setting all the parameters in BIOS and testing them with the hardest memory test program, goldmemory 6.64.
If i clock in Win with clockgen and test only with superpi 32mb, i can achieve higher frequencies...
later i'll try with active cooling on ram (a simple fan), because now this is the limit, they aren't 100% stable even if i raise freq by only 2Mhz...
and increasing voltage to 2,7v has no effect, resulting in little worse results
What's the board? DFI Ultra-D or SLi? Or something else?
Yes, GoldMemory 6.64 is a really nice tester, seems much better than Memtest1.55 and on par with "Memtest for Windows" :)

I made several tests with practically all of the parameters in the BIOS, to find best settings for my ram. At a first time I worked so:
change a single parameter in BIOS and test with 10 runs of memtest #5
look how many errors it reports and choose the option with less errors
But when i repeated the tests with the same identical BIOS settings I obtained very different results (like 200errors VS 100 with same settings!!!), so I left memtest ang gone for goldemmory.
With this tester i obtained very precise results, and if I repeat twice a test with the same BIOS settings, the max difference, in terms of errors, is for example 205 VS 200.
So, for every single parameter in BIOS I made a full goldmemory pass (about 35min) and choosed the option with less errors.
Some settings now are different from the screen i posted (like the tRAS from 5 to 7 and the tREF from 3072 to 2048)
At a first moment i followed the guide from KAKAKOTO and ONEPAGEBOOK but then i went on my own
219x12 on some old ch-5. can do 235mhz with the same timings but the cpu doesn't seem to like it right now. still doing some tweaking. hope to be back with air cooled 2.7ghz+. here's the screenie.

Here's my GSkill LE at 300. Not 2.5 3 3 7 unfortunately, but other timings are quite tight. Also stable to memtest for Windows for 8 hours (at which point I decided it was stable ;) )

flu1: memtest dos is a lot less stressful than other testing programs because it ONLY tests your ram.....you will be able to memtest in dos a lot higher than you will be able to run windows stable !!
if you can do superpi32m @ 310 2.5-3-3-x and run windows memtest you will have the best 2 sticks of ram i have seen on any forum in a long time !!!
G-Skill PC4400 'LE' 440 Chips on BP PCB! @ 2.5-3-3-7 2ith 2.9V + 0.03V (2.96V BIOS)..

This is NOT the best speed achived, I have memtested at 285Mhz @ 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.96V but I am running the CPU in.
With 3V I *Should* get 290 stable!

not to be a stickler but you need to pass superpi32 to join in the fun!!

NOW... Here's the catch! If you think that SuperPI 1M-8M or Sandra are a sign of stability, then don't even bother showing it to us... There are many other threads more suitable for that kind of "stunts" in Xtreme Bandwidth forums.
So, for instance, if you have a set of TCCD that breaks DDR600 barrier @ 7-3-3-2.5-1T w/ SPi 32M and min. x7 multiplier then don't hesistate and bring it here... It would be very appreciated if you could add Sandra and A64Tweaker screens at same exact settings that forementioned SuperPi run was made... Just to give others an idea how to make theirs TCCD perform stable at higher speeds
Oh come now, 4 hours of BOINC not enough!
Got tests coming up, so give me a week to 32mb at my highest 2.5-3-3-7 speed.

Since I sold these bad boys to Major this week I figured why not give them one last push to see if I could still reach 316MHz and maybe a little more. :D So I pulled out everything in my bag of tricks and this resulted in a new personal best of 321MHz :slobber: that's DDR642 for anyone a little slow. ;) It was about an 6 hour straight tweak fest but I'm happy with the results. @Opteron96
Your recent result is just unreal! 32M @ 310 6-3-3-2.5-1T with 2x512MB is something, that I'm not sure anyone has ever done before. Don't get me wrong, but I need to think about this result a bit. I might need to come up with some sort of verification for that. Don't take it personal, OK?
Other than that, list is UPDATED!
Unbelievable how can be only 3 entries in the 2x512MB - Trcd 3 section. This is my small contribution to this section. I will update it since I know I can do more but have no pics atm.

If you don't mind, I'll wait for next screenies. What I need to be on the screenshot are: SuperPi window, A64Tweaker and 2 instances of CPU-Z (CPU and Memory Tabs). On both CPU-Z windows, version (e.g 1.28.6 or 1.29) should be visible. Thanks!
OK, just fine for me (and you save some work :) )
I guess that I have to increase my screen resolution in order to get all that in one screenshot :p:
I will try my best for the first place. 301 @ 2.5-3-3-7 (keep on dreaming, it pays no tax... yet :D )
Here are some TCC5 results, I think I got everything I need in the SS, if not let me know and I can rerun the 32M. Using BIOS 0510-3 and the gear in my sig.
DDR 614 @ 2.5-4-3-5, 3.04v (DMM).
This is 24/7 stable. I can squeeze a few more Mhz if I loosen timings more but its not worth the performance loss IMO.
http://members.shaw.ca/Eldonko/306-2.JPG
I don't see many posts with trcd of 3, so I thought I would post one. 10x270 2.5-3-3-8. I can run 3dmark, pcmark, sandra, up to 8m pass of super-pi 10x280 2.5-3-3-8, just can't get 32m to pass.
@bachus_anonym
You can now create an entry with my score. I think that I could do a little better, but it will take me much more effort than to get this one.
Score: 2.5-3-3-6@296 1T 1:1 2.9v

PS: I can put this sticks to work (flawlessly) with CAS 1.5 @ 200-205 2.6v. Is this a common result for TCCD? I thought that TCCD couldn't do CAS 1.5 :p:
EDIT: bios 510-2

Nice results man!!!
Could You tell me what are Your's everyday settings of these 4x512 2T?
I'm concerning to buy another pair of LEs and wonder if they clock high enough :D I'm interested what is the max stable (gaming, win apps) MHz with 2,5-3-3-6 and tightest alpha timings as possible.
Using a mixed set of G.Skill LE 4400 with 440 chips and G.Skill LA 4800 with 440 chips. Maximum Memetest stable was 290mhz and the best I could get in Windows was 285mhz PI 32m stable.
Using a DFI NF4 SLI with 3700+ SD (see server in my sig)
Thanks Ziku.Quote:

But I have already two profiles: default and max overclock.
At default I run my cpu at 2200 with memories at 200 2-2-2-5 2.6v and following timimngs (bios 510-2):
200-D-2-2-5-2-7-9-0-2-1-1-3072-1-E-D-0-7-2-6-F-4-0-E-0-7-D
At max overclock I run the cpu at 2600 with memories at 260 2.5-3-3-7 2.7v and the following timings:
200-D-2.5-3-7-3-12-16-3-3-2-2-3072-1-E-D-0-7-2-8-F-6-128-E-16-7-D
The default profile is fully tweaked and I cannot tight any further. I should note that it's the exact same setting I was using with 2x512 (except for the 2T). So here no loosening due to the 4 dimms.
The max overclock profile is still in a "alpha" state and is my start point.
I used to test my settings with 4 instances of superpi32M running simultaneously and both profiles can pass this test and everything I've thrown to them so far.
With a good memory controller, you should have no problems with 4 dimms, and you can also pick the best 2 to set new 2x512 records, like I did :D
If you want more info just ask.

@ L@TrO
You have to provide a screen with a superpi32M run and two cpu-z screens, showing the cpu and memory tab (make sure that the cpu-z version is visible) in order for your result to be comparable with the results in this thread. Superpi2M stability is way far from 32M stability.
Take the opportunity and give a try to 305 ;)

Post 32M screenshot, please...
bachus, I don't know if you will be happy :D or get mad , but I have another update to my result... DDR608 with all the settings the same except 3.0v and 23C of case temperature.
The weather here in Portugal may not be good for the beach as usually, but its sure great for overclocking :D
I'll post the screen later, because I have the felling that I may reach DDR610 in the next days.
EDIT: here's the pic
http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/3865/ddr6084gx.jpg
Settings: same as used on the DDR604 pic, but with 3.0v
Let's see if I can reach DDR610. Yesterday it bailed out at loop7. I have to loose the secondary timings a bit.
'bout that. In NF3/NF4 & TCCD - Highest stable clocks - REPORT IN !!!:
Four double-sided sticks at 1T? I don't think so... Besides, take a look at their A64 tweaker screenies :)Quote:

I think that this is the end of this nice story... until 3.1v kicks in... but not until the winter temps come back (I don't want to be greedy and ruin my sweet sticks).
Here u go 300mhz ddr 600 (2.5-4-4-6) 2T.......
I think i can get it tighter.

i have a new one
i never tried it again with 2.5-3-3-7 after i changed to 618-3 bios, but i needed a little more than what 2.5-4-3-8 could give me (trying to break a 14k CPU score in aquamark3)
i found some old settings, i think i got them here somewhere
anyways, my new high score
9x295 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.83v
OCZ platinum revision 2 v1.1 TCC5 chips
does anyone know what the fastest TCC5 32m stable is? just want to see how close i am at
edit: forgot to put CPU-z in the first one's, so i ran 32m again, and have it in the 2nd screenshot
@bachus_anonym
Heres an update, DDR626. Using 0618-1 and 4200EL TCC5. Cheers.

Tighten it up, man! Get off 2T :D Also, what PDP exactly is that? PDP Patriot XBLK PC3200?
@qk4723Deluxe and qk4722
Thanks a lot for dropping by, guys :toast: Nice to see some great clocks with GeiL UltraX
@qk4722
What mainboard is that? DFI Ultra-D ?
This thread is getting bigger day after day! Thanks to you, guys! Keep'em coming, please :toast:

2x512 gskill ff rams, i can do more mhz in my rams buy in lower multi like 9 or 10.
This is PQI Turbo Dual Channel Kit, PC3200 at 2-2-2-5, 2x512 at 301x9, 2.5-3-3-7. Other specs:
Board: DFI Ultra-D
BIOS: 510-3
DIMM slots: Orange
VDIMM: 2.8 volts
VLDT/VCHIP: 1.2/1.5
LDT: 4x
CPU: CABGE 0517UPAW San Diego
VCORE: 1.456 volts
The sticks max out at 308 or so at 2.5-3-3-7 but I picked 301 to try SuperPI 32M :).
I just noticed I'm listed as having my TCCD run at 334 2.5-4-3. Thats not right. CPU-Z is not showing that I'm running a 9:10 divider so that really only 300. Please make the correction. I wish my sticks did that but while good performers they are not freaks. ;)
There is a Oc database at DFI street.. This is my recent entry so I figured to post it here also.. Its not a very high mem oc.. but I think its a good clock for 4x512mb's.. ;)
