Surprisingly, my CPU never goes past 48C and my GPU never goes past 45C anymore. The fan is still only running half speed, and both my CPU and GPU are overclocked. Goes to show, you don't need a perfect loop or large radiator to get satisfactory temperatures. So far my motherboard is limiting my overclock, until I get a new motherboard, i'll stick with this setup.Quote:

Thats my temporary cooling. CPU is waiting for home made phase change :D. On my gfx you can see my home made waterblock, I know it's not very impressing but I think it's cool :P The case is being repainted that's why everything is on the floor :) .

The hardware specs of this machine are a 2500 mobile over clocked to 2.7ghz, Abit NF7-s motherboard 1 gig of HyperX with bh-5 chips, NVIDIA 6800 video card, Western Digital 36 gig raptor, Seagate 120 gig ATA hard drive, Plextor CD-RW, and a Samsung DVD. My best aquamark score is 56,800 and 3d mark 2001 is 20,081. The cooling setup is in my signature also.

Nope, I have the bottle right here, Zerex Water pump lubricant and Protector (prevents Rust & Corrosion) Although there was several different zerex for different functions this one was the one I picked LOL it's just color I'll just add a few drop of UV Dye I have right here and i'm ready to go.
idleuser, nice looking machine there. The coolant is a unique color. Try a few drops of dye-lite in there to make it glow really good.

max under load of 45 which isn't great, but couldn't fit anything more inside :( might invest in a slightly bigger case soon!
what kind of radiator are you running jopers?
it came with an astek kit, that i bought of a mate, with some bits changed such as the barbes for thicker tubes and a different res!
aparently as i've been told the rad is a black ice pro

the resevoir was a leaking a bit so it moved into that big bucket but i haven't been able to mount the radiator properly so it just chills in the bucket it pushed the temps up to 32c ish before i had it running at 25c-27c i'll update when i move it back outside

From my xp2500-mobile days - also some humor in the beginning.
I am coming to the conclusion that the energy removal requirements need more than even just an xp120, & the fans are beginning to annoy me too. So looks like I may need to update my current box to WC again. (looks around @ stuff to mount, not so extreme as b4 but still....)
Looking to use cascade WB on bare 90nm, so should work well and I'm just cooling the CPU this time. Will mod a mcp350 for flow (may just mount a reservoir to the top of the pump :hehe: ) and use a small(er) rad.

not bad man, i thought the res was supposed to be at a high point in the case though. (that is a res in the lower right of your case isnt it??) other than that it looks very clean and nicely done!

There is nothing outside case or so on...
...tube is plain silicon tube (15/12) which you could find from every "plastic-store" for few dollars/euros/1 m. The best IMO. Everything in my case is made just for it's purpose. As large turns with tube to avoid an extra resistance in flow of liquid (liquid in circulaion is called AG-Supercooler: some racecar corrosionsinhibitor - ready for use, the best again IMO. Have it going on in the coolersystem for few years). U-turn going from NB to CPU is what I made of acryl tube and bent it after applying some heat to it first (it is good to use some tightly fitting silicon tube inside acryl tube when benting it - that way you don't get any wrinkles to acryl tube).
I have tryed to have low resistance and high flow circulation. Tightest inner diameter is 12mm at those GPU/NB-block barbs, to which I fitted some brass barbs (after I drilled them to 12mm). CPU block was M-maze type which I dremeled to U-type block and welded new copperbarbs. In that block the canal diameter is about 13mm at tightest point: works well IMO.
Finally i would say: never use tight 90 degrees turns <-killers of the flow. And reservoirs are something like useless. And do not use pumps needed to dip into water.
Ah, uh: almost forgot to brag that this rig of mine is virtually silent...

One things that's always bugged me, those blocks with the 3 tubes perform a lot better than say a danger den TDX style? Are those also impingement blocks or no? I'm still learning :D
MY Lian LI PC-75B case with a Asetek Universal CPU block, Black ICE Pro 120mm, Hydor L20 and a Asetek RSV02 res.
Temps: 27c idle (winny 3000+ stock) 30c Load (Stock).
30c idle (2,2ghz 3000+) 34c Load (2,2ghz).
This is measured with Asus PC-Probe, so dont know if it is that correct.

with a nice 120.3 in the bottom, and a total of 10 120mm fans :D yays
