As much as I want AMD to get a solid chip on the market to give Intel a run... more and more i'm beginning to think AMDs naming of this chip has been overly arrogant. Combine that with how much information they've released/leaked on Bulldozer when the chip is still a ways away from release... and I'm starting to lean towards either Bulldozer turning out to be more of a garden hoe. Especially since I highly doubt Intel is just going to sit on their hands for a couple years waiting to get "bulldozed".
Don't get overly surprised when Intel keeps quiet until the long wait for bulldozer is over... and releases a chip to BURY the competition. (intel is notorious for doing this).

I seen all what I need about SB. And did u seen review? Anandtech maybe 2 months ago made preview SB...Think, Zambezzi kick ass to SB in multithread operation.

I think anyone making a definitive statement today about whether one chip or the other will have the upper hand just shows that they don't know all the facts. On either side. Let's wait until everything is out to start making those statements.

JF: but I am meaning, u know right reality ,-), because Sandy Bridge benchmarks are around the web (example at www.coolaler.com, some here in Intel forum, preview at Anandtech etc)

Sandy Bridge is an Intel product. Intel has different NDA, marketing, prices, etc than AMD has. It's very simple.

Yes, SB scores have been around for a while, but where are the BD benches? ;)

AMD almost never leak benchmarks to 3rd parties before official launch.

I've noticed that, definitely a different approach compared to Intel. As always, time will tell, but I think anyone saying at this stage 'XYZ will beat ABC' is full of it because there is next to no info regarding actual BD performance apart from slides, which I'll admit look impressive on paper...

I agree with JF-AMD, just wait for the chips to be released before making comparisons! :up:

I dont need BD benchmarks, better is good suprice for me :). This tsrategy like me, to the latest time people dont know about performace :) (Denebs info was leaked 3/4 before launch, later in November 2008 with finale revision. But with Thubans was diferent, first benchmarks info was about only 14 day before launch ! And this same is last years with graphics, began it with HD4000...)

Since they are notorious, there should be multiple examples. I am struggling to think of one.

They are only assuming at the intention of why Kryptonite was used, or that K even stood for Kryptonite.

I guess the reason for that is called Shanghai. You saw Deneb benchmarks earlier because there were server CPU's already launched.

I seen first Deneb benchamrks at April 2008 :)...At this time was not Shanhai launched yet :)
