It was on LHe
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1160187
Had a great time...
That was awesome...12 hours of mayhem...the LHe scare was pretty bad but I'm glad you guys sorted it out. 7 Ghz just wasn't meant to be. :(
Totally watching this right now! Helium lol
I enjoyed the LHe session very much
Great works from all participating Teams:clap:
6.936GHz with LHe on new 6core AMD is really awesome:up::clap:
Get some sleep ....guys!
someone post a clip of chew* talking with helium! it will be an epic sig!
Excellent..:up::clap:
aaron's war machine!!! :shocked::shocked::shocked:
Good job XS Team!!! Congrats!!! 6,9GHz is very very high !!!
I saw 6998 but it was literally 1/10th of a second before the system crashed so it wouldn't have survived a screenshot, let alone a validation.
it was one hell of a day......great time watching the pros do their thing good job!
is there another stream soon ????
So what's going on with team Finland??
team finland will stream sunday ..
congrats to all the teams, great job 64NOMIS getting it set up & keeping all the streams up.. everything was great all day, was very fun to watch :)
Great show, guys!
Too bad you had such a rough time getting the LHe to cooperate but it worked out alright in the end.
Looking forward to Sunday. You never know, your 6939 MHz record might stand, but for the sake of the CPU I hope sombody gets that's 7 GHz medal ...! ;)
That was fun to watch. Thanks for the front row seat.:)
Going live can present its own set of problems but I saw innovation and adaptability overcome most if not all. Good job. 7GHz+ is right there, so near and you guys will have it soon.
Was def fun to watch, even if I never LN2 I learned something!
Where do we find a list/links to the scores/screenshots that were submitted?
You, Pretty cool! I watched off and on until like 11:45pm CST last night. I was whooped from my own daily ventures but I enjoyed it. It wasn't the Saints in the Superbowl pwning the Colts excitement but 7GHZ validation was so close! That chip went thru hell yesterday and took it all! Intel can't say that. LOL!
Congratz to everyone involved!
It was a blast!
Shame I didn't last till LHe session.
Still, Team Finland is yet to perform :)
BTW watching 3 to 5 live streams at one after few beers is a funny experience :p:
HEy guys...
Funny fact : Firemen arrived at my place yesterday eveninG... because all the neighbors were calling them due to the 160L ln2 tank in front of my place...
That's sick ^^
Team Austria awakes again after more than 12 hours of benching. :toast:
We did every result on the gigabyte board, because we could not get k10stat functional on the crosshairs. Well, both boards had their problems at the beginning, but the ud7 was more stable in our testings ... and it lastet the whole session. The bios is far away from perfect. Lots of problems with vcore, sometimes it booted with some weird settings (back to BIOS + F10 and it was fixed ;)) and so on.
Here are our scores:
CPU-Z
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1159872
Frequency: 6,603.86 MHz
It was a :banana::banana::banana::banana:y to validate that high. We had to be quick as f..., but F7 directly to usb-stick did the trick before the os crashed.
3DMark Vantage
http://www.overclockers.at/files/vantage_154267.jpg
Score: 31564
We had only one HD 5970 and one HD 5870 ready, because we've been briefed to late. Both with stock cooler and without mods, but whatever ... we tried our best with the stuff we got. Isn't that what overclocking is about? :p
3DMark 06
http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=13811113
Score: 36108
Worked better for us and was only cpu limited. 6.05 ghz ... not that bad.
Unigine
Image way too big ...
FPS: 105,5
Scores: 2657
Is that an official benchmark? Lots of troubles with that, but one score is better than no score. Trifire again, cpu at 5,75 ghz.
CineBench R11.5
http://www.overclockers.at/files/cin...1-5_154268.jpg
Score: 10.44
SuperPI 1M
http://www.overclockers.at/files/superpi_1m_154272.jpg
Time: 10.858
Not included in the competition, but we just had to. Wasn't our best result, so better time should be possible.
wPrime 1.55 - 32M
http://www.overclockers.at/files/wprime_32m_154269.jpg
Time: 4.00 (exactly! :D)
wPrime 1.55 - 1024M
http://www.overclockers.at/files/wpr...24m_154270.jpg
Time: 131.172
Some details and images can be found in our forums, but of course in German. Have a look here: http://www.overclockers.at/benchmark...32#post2997632
If you want, you can try the google translation here.
I watched the XS team live yesterday for over 6 hours on http://XtremeSystems.TV. Today I was motivated to put in $25 to upgrade my account here at XS. This forum giving us XSTV is well worth it!
Again Nice work everyone at XS, you guys rocked !
All other Teams Congratz also, great bunch of over clockers going at it :)
I watched the whole day until they stopped, good times :)
Aarons War Machine is right HAHAAH
12 winners for the AMD video contest, hmm.,...So no music can be used in less you make it yourself...well I guess my video submission would be boring :p:

I will be watching :yepp:
hey dinos
it was very good, tough it had a few bugs.
the cpu vcore set in bios seems not be the real vcore you have in windows later.
it was always like 0.15V too low.
after hardlock we had to go into bios and load the settings again, otherwise the vcore was everytime too low.
maybe thr F2a bios would solve that, but we didn't test it.
rebooting with this board was a little bit boring, i was the Del -> F10 -> Enter guy @ the session. :p:
Sometimes i had to do this 2 or 3 times before the system booted into the OS. :( :D
Sometimes, when the system crashed, it boots without any problem, but if you look into CPU-z after booting it looks like the bios settings are mixed up.
CPU freq. and multi jumps up and down and the system is very unstable.
After rebooting and the del -> f10 -> enter trick it works fine again.
With a new bios version it will be a very nice board i think! :)
I'm watching!...agaaiinnnn!
Watching what? All i can see is all cams offline.
As I understood and 64NOMIS wrote, it will start after 1 hour (20:00 finnish time, the same as here in Bulgaria).
Watching with my wife  (that's first for her:yepp:)
:-d
So what is the highest record we got so far? Any magic 7 number?
TEAM FINLAND NOW COMPLETE

I just saw CT and said OMG, they are in Connecticut!
I almost got in the car!
TEAM FINLAND Results Highlights From Black Ops
6617MHz CPUZ
3.932 wPrime 32M at 6326MHz
125sec 1024M at 6250MHz
3DM06 at 6155CPU/4060NB/967MEM and 38303
3DM Vantage CPU score at 6177MHz and 31200
Cinebench 11.5 at 6070MHz and 10.76
nice work Team Finland. Looks like that CPU has more in it for 06 if you managed to run vantage at higher clocks
AMD rocks!
Nice work Team Finland
Was trying to watch the live stream today and did get some of it in.
nice work guys

nice Pinzgauer who's is it ?
Thx for the shots msimax.
Great Pics MSIMAX, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for posting the pic's !
I bet Aarons power bill took a hit that weekend
nice pics and nice clocks :)
PS: lol, and cool bicykle :D http://img32.imageshack.us/i/1000040sm.jpg/
well team finlands did not under lhe either and frank fixed it......it's quite obvious via video it was done ;) See if i can get frank to fix this as well.
Here's what I did on a budget board on cooling the majority has acess to.
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1156430
Digging through the dumps I found this on the Xp drive msi max was using as he was losing temps on lhe.
http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/banner/1168798.png
Thank you. Some folks over at http://www.techreport.com/discussions.x/18855 were saying these other teams from Turkey or some place were the world record holders and I corrected them. I watched you and MSIMAX clock for 7 hours live last Friday so I've seen the truth.
mechro were you around at the end of the finns run to see the ln2 showers? :D
Heh well Ok I was totally against a comp from the beginning I just wanted to have fun, comps ruin the fun in my opinion.
here's the break down as I lost all but most of my shots.....had a usb drive die yesterday with all but a few screenies that were on one loan XP 32m drive not since formatted.
Wprime 3.968
Cinebench 10.88
1m 10.328
3d 06 with 3x 5870's opposed to some using 2x 5970's.... 38250
vantage 3x 5870's opposed to some using 2x 5970's 36XXX? I had validated i will screenshot my futuremark link as it can't be made public with 10.3 driver ( not whql yet )
cpu-z in ln2 as i personally would not count LHE in a comp where only one team has it.......so 6755. In fact I unlike others did not even post it on bot ;)
heaven was like a 33XX score with like 136 FPS with 3x 5870's.
chew: what about wprime 1024M? Tested it? Or will test it? Show screens (later) please :)
think I tested it low but never bothered higher.....not a big deal.
An event/competition is not the place to do your best results due to time limitations etc etc. I will bench all out later as that was my first time ever on that board with new bios and my first time ever with ln2 on that board at all. I was just feeling it out and was very sparing with voltage compared to everyone else.
Ok did some digging and here's what i came up with that didn't die on the USB stick.
This is an accumlation of results done by msimax and myself, we will be sure to revisit these results and try to improve them
Pretesting before event on ln2
http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/banner/1156430.png
Msimax as temps were plummeting on Lhe.
http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/banner/1168798.png
LHE validation is now fixed
http://valid.canardpc.com/cache/banner/1160187.png
This result will not be found on the bot as I share the same sentiments with charles albeit different circumstances which I quoted below.
It however is a milestone for AMD.
http://chew.ln2cooling.com/890FXA-UD7/AMD%20X6.jpg
http://hwbot.org/signature.img?iid=3...se&iehack=.jpg
http://hwbot.org/signature.img?iid=3...se&iehack=.jpg
Cinebench we hit 10.88
3d 06 we hit 38250 3x 5870
Heaven with 3x 5870 at the specified settings for this event 136fps and 36XX?
All results which succumbed to my dead USB stick however i'm sure it was caught on video ;)
A vantage run with 3x 5870's I had managed to validate before the USB died. 10.3 driver not whql yet so not able to make public as of yet.
http://chew.ln2cooling.com/5970/Clipboard02.jpg
Thanks to all that helped with the event, manufacturers and people alike. It was surely a long journey and a bumpy ride but it all worked out in the end.
did anyone ever capture that split-second 6998 on video/stream.
