Thanks! As dingdong555 posted, you can get them at Jab-tech or try contacting Bitspower directly. They should be able to tell you where to get them in Portugal.
The Mamba rocks! That's one mouse I don't regret buying!
Yup, not smart enough to combine different adapters so I went the lazy route.
!! I know the feeling...
The sleeving job is excellent. I need to hurry up and make an order for some soon. All the black goodies that arrived from bitspower are very nice as well. I'll probably be using some of that stuff as well very soon.
Looks really good man! Inspiring
Here's an update from last week.
The XFX 4890 is not the latest and greatest videocard but it does the job well.

The TIM was caked on pretty good but it came off with a little bit of elbow grease.

Probably to the dismay of our resident pirate, this will be the last time anyone will see this red heatsink... :)

All cleaned up and ready for the waterblock.

All done!

Today's progress:
Change of plans. Repositioned rad to have the fittings on the backside instead.

That is all for today.
Still have a couple of 45s that I want to use somewhere. Perhaps on the tubing closest to the RAM? I'll have some time to decide before I leak test it next weekend.
Thanks for visiting!
Loving it, dude your build is really one of my top favorites right now. Nice work and keep it coming!
Question:
Where did you source your 655 Matte Black housing? I've checked a couple of retailers and I can't seem to find it. Thanks!!
I feel like I'm resurrecting a project that should have been done months ago. Between spending only 3 weeks at home since the last update due to work travel and having to get yet another motherboard RMA'd, I'm just happy to be able to get back to finishing this up.
However, I should be done by tomorrow. Woohoo!!
I thought I would post the stuff I did in February before I got distracted by life.
The only thing I was able to do at the time since I didn't have an motherboard was to paint the DVD burner and backplates a matte black. I'm trying to keep everything as clean as possible and the DVD burner was really annoying me...

The next update should finish it up.
Petrucci_M3 - I was able to contact Bitspower and they provided me a source for these parts. Sorry it took me so long to respond. :(
Great to see an update, Haz...been following your work for a while for a reason - it's one of my faves. :D
Clean looking tube routing and great job on stealthing the dvd drives. Paint, huh?
Hey Haz, quality build mate!
I'm interested to know what pump noise & vibrations are like since you've moved the D5 from the bottom section and fixed it to the mid shelf?
Thanks Captain. You've been one of my biggest inspirations.
I can barely hear the pump because of the rubber padding. My biggest noise source right now is the RAM fan. I am keeping at <50% to keep it inline with the noise from the GTs.
The last update for Black & Blue:
Apologies in advance for all the pictures, I went a little crazy with the camera... :yepp:
The last of the sleeving. I plan on redoing the SATA cables. This is by far the hardest one to get it to come out clean. Any suggestions?

This journey was a lot longer than I expected with a lot of challenges and hiccups along the way but it was fun!!
Thanks all and hope you enjoyed the project.
Congrats on the final product! Loving the color combo!
sick!
That is one NICE looking computer! Great job!!
Very nicely done!! Looks good!
only thing killing it is the red ati pcb reference board.
This is a beastly build!!
:clap::clap:
สุดยอดมากๆครับ
Wow, thanks guys!!
Thanks again Captain. One of my project goals was to get better at framing shots. There is plenty of room for improvement. :)
You noticed... Any suggestions besides getting a brand new card?
Huh? :hm:
Agree - I like it a lot!
Other than getting a new card, I'm not sure you can do much about the red PCB on the video card - but, I don't think it detracts from the build. Just gives you something to save up for - your next upgrade;)
(and ... PaRN ssR often chimes in with one word comments - but only on the builds he really likes, so take it as a compliment ;) )
Make a blue or black acrylic piece to cover the back of the video card.
Is a good clean build. Even better would be to stealth the optical drive.
Oh you updated this! Saw this on some other forum when I was thinking about my current build and this totally got me to stop thinking about it and actually start ordering. Went with the same tubing because of your amazing pics, perfect size/color imo. As for the red pcb my suggestion would be (if it's really irking you, if not let it be) is to go with the ek fc+backplate. It will make just about all of it black and look great in there. Yes it's not cheap but it's something like 250$ or more cheaper than a new card. Glad you updated, reminds me I need to get to finishing my own. Awesome build.
p.s. Can you tell me where you found those 3/8 to 1/4 thread adapters in matte black? Somewhere that ships to USA I hope?
Great build, I only have one suggestion, and it's on my personal todo list.
http://www.lian-li.com/v2/en/product...=6&ss_index=38
With a few well placed cuts, and getting rid of the mechanical portion of the cdrw bezel, and some double sided tape, you can stealth any drive.
This wasn't possible with the c-01.
Flat black is great, but brushed aluminum is better.
Otherwise damn near perfect. Don't be in a rush to upgrade your card, if it does the job.... then keep it.
:)
Thanks shazza! I'm glad you like it! I definitely admire what you have done to promote these projects.
Yah, I think I'm going to leave it for now. At least until I decide I "need" a faster card... ;)
I like that thought but with my cutting and shaping skills, I'm afraid it would look out of place. However, I'm taking your advice and will work on the stealth drive. I think that would clean up the front just nicely!
So you're saying I'm responsible for getting you started? :D I hope you don't blame me for spending too much money on it!
With regards to the EK block, that is a good option. I wish I had considered that prior. If I decide to go crossfire, then I'll probably go that route!
Thanks, send a note to Bitspower to see where you can get it from in the US. Vincent is cool and responsive!
Cool! I remember seeing a someone add a stealth drive to their build months ago but lost the source.
Here I thought I was done but now I have something else want to do! Thanks!!
Oh and the card is staying for now...
:ROTF: As usual, you leave me speechless!
Muchas gracias por el cumplido PaRn ssR!!Quote:

What recommendations would you all suggest to enhance the inside without being too showy?
My preference is to not be able to see the light strips or tubes. There are so many options, it's driving me nuts...
I looked around the topic and found very interesting your work, very beautiful design, parabens, waiting for new updates
I only discovered xtreme systems some months ago and lately i've been trying to play catch-up to some of the builds. I wish i did this before starting my own build because there's some steps i would've approached differently after viewing these threads. Man those black Bitspower fittings rock! Painting the pump was a great idea also. I only discovered this build just now and had to leave a comment. Love this case, love the build. By the way, did you get much noise vibration from bolting your pump in that way?
Thanks for the nice words. I've been traveling quite a bit the last few months so I haven't worked on it since the last posting. I plan on getting an SSD and some lighting to finish it up.
Wow, thanks!!
The silicon pad does a really good job at keeping vibrations and noise down. I've been pleased with it's performance.
