950MHz GPU clock, possible it's all GPU limited now. Canyon flight in 05 is also "low" considering the CPU speed.

Andre! That is awesome man! With 3 5870's I was able to push 34k. With 4 it did'nt make a difference. I used the 4-way classified and 4 5870's in vantage but the framerate was in the 50's??
I dont know if it's just drivers or the cpu holding me back. Did you use specific drivers for the 4-way setup? Thanks!! -Beaux

driver problem. RC6 RC7 RC8 RC9 drivers are low score for vantage. You should find another driver.

special driver doesn't effect single or dual cards score. It's only for 3 or 4 cards vantage and 03. I don't know why ATI new beta driver sucks still.

George, try your Gulftown on 762:D
If I remember well at ADW you did a 32M run at 6300Mhz+ with Gulftown on E760 and you get as a result 6.05.XXX. The same with Andre at 6100Mhz...BUT he is benching with E762....:)

I didn't compare performance with E762 and E760. I think it's not bios problem. Maybe it's old stepping gulftown problem, such as CO and DO i7.:confused:

Hopefully that is a BIOS issue. Good thing these chips scale another GHz over Bloomfield otherwise this would be a huge dampener. Let's cross our fingers that it is a BIOS inefficiency and can be worked out.

I think there is some issue with that particular sample and Classified. Or just that sample.

Sub 6 min should not be a problem at all with those frequencys :rolleyes:

Thread revival here, but I was hoping you could tell me Andre, what were the cards running at on that mobo?

Example, the first 3 at PCI Express 2.0 x16 and the fourth at x8 or are they all x16? Can't find out what the classified 4x supports on their site or google, just says 4 way SLI support.

PCIE is the same as P6T7 WS SuperComputer. You can google it.

32nm - 1.35v :confused: ( Guesstimate )

So if the Max safe is around that point then all these clocks of 4.5-4.6Ghz won't be happening 24/7 :)

Those "safe voltage" specs is for n00bs on the stock air coolers. Intel doesn't want them to blow up their chips and have a bunch of RMAs... :rofl:

I ran my 45nm Intel chip in 1.64Vcore for months under water and the only reason I stopped was that it had started to burn the pads and pins on the CPU and socket.

I've just moved over to AMD and I have a Athlon 2 x2 at 1.545Vcore on the stock cooler and all is fine :D

By the time voltage affects a chips performance and stability the chip is to old to be of any use anyway :)

Forget about safe voltages, as long as you can cool it properly and you know what you're doing you're fine. Overvolting might shorten the life time of your CPU from 15 years to 10 years, but who cares?!
