Good news! I am sure the temps will be significantly lower than the stock heatsinks.
I certainly hope so. I still have testing to do which I hope to conduct on Thursday.
Any chance that this thing is going to be black in order to match the rest of the board :) ?
Let me say... just based on that statement...you will NOT be disappointed then... I am just dying to post these pictures!
Now we're talking, very nice job nateman
Oh lord its beautiful! Thanks for the pics.
My pleasure! now hopefully I can get some good test results
That looks great!
gentlemen... I would like to report absolute success...
I let the mobo idle for FIFTEEN minutes with NO WATER in the block...
once the NB and Vregs reached 40°C I pumped water through it, at a very slow rate.
Vregs were unwavering at 40°C.
Standards were a 65°F room, pumped 75°F water through the block.
NB temps were in the mid to lower 30's(C)
Sounds good ... can you tell other settings (CPU OC, Vcore, etc?)
Sounds great. What about load temps?
I was not able to check any load temps because this was just done in the bios for now. No hard drive was hooked up. However... I did OC the board to 4.2 GHz, and the bios temps were unchanged (with the exception of the cpu
Any new updates?

The vregs were 40°C constant. OC, no OC, with water, without water.
That's impressive. I wish I had this board too, just for your block haha.
Any update on the vreg temps?
Drrr thanks
not a problem. ;)
Here comes the next block!
After a few hours marking, came an hour of cutting. A fresh bandsaw blade helps.

Mine turned out excellent! Thanks Nateman!
hey nate make sure you polish the top with a clear coat of something.
Otherwise in a few months, oxidation will make that beauty look really bad.
that is beatiful, wish someone would make that for the Asus Rampage II GENE
full cover for gene is impossible to make (just look gap between pci-e slot and ram slot)
only mosfet + nb full + single block for SB
I dont really care about the SB. It does not effect overclocks haha, just the northbridge and mosfets
