Eyefinity, very nice!
Very nice stuff there, crowd computing looks very interesting :)
I would really need a much bigger desk to have 6x 24" Dell LCD's here.
I like all the multi screen setups but the thing that bugs me about them is what do you do with the bezzel space and the effect it has on breaking up the images. Clearly on the flight sim's shown and the bezzel's going right accross the middle of the screen breaks up the image.
Hopefully some day we can get these LCD's that have almost no bezzel space.
Thats about my only complaint with multi screen setups.
Nice job Simon
Putting the screws(screens) to the competition I see. This opens up interesting possibilities.
wow, the flight simulator demo looks very cool! good job amd!
that is a LOT of pixels! and there wasn't any lag at all on the hawx game! wow, whatta powerful card were gonna have. cool video!
Decisions, decisions.
Is this a green issue or an SFF issue?
I use a 4890X2 in my SFF rig. :D and its fine. But durring gameplay a bit loud.
Remember, the 3000 & 4000 series have some nice power management capability at idle.
Can't say much more about the 5000 series yet. Sorry.
I hope for it :). I know HD5000 is under NDA to 21.9. (think Athlon II X4 too :-) )
but i have not good PSU for 5850 or 5870....
think 4890X2 is possible...it was some news about saphire 4890x2, but later this new quiet
Read somewhere that there were plans to make a 4890X2 if the Evergreen launch was to be delayed but when TSMC got their act together those plans were scrapped. Don't ask me where I got it though, should have been here or this thread at beyond3d(just 107 pages to read)...
oh okay, so the eyefinity does also work with current generation cards if it only got the horsepower? hmm, monitors... how many???

Don't cut yourself short yet:p: We had some good results under tame cooling. I am going to do some stock air test first thne under the Xig dark knight. After my new water mod, it will be next. I just put F7 bios on the UD5P... Chew* if your reading, have you tried it yet? Good luck all.
The pot in Simon's avatar is extrememly similar to the variant I use. I am continually working with the designer to improve upon it and its performance and make it universal. The variant I use is in my avatar ;) It does extremely well on DI as well and we have a water cooling conversion in the works for it :)
Yes lots of new fun stuff being worked on at LN2cooling :)
New Prolimatech Mega Shadow (Megahalem) Nickel Plated "Black Edition" & Delta "Mega Fast" 120mm x 38mm Fan - 252 CFM will be here on Wed so Air Cooling tests can start with that while my Phantom is away on vacation
