With more surface the overall speed of the air going through the rad is lowered wich i belive upps the heat removed per ccm of air. 10c delta is alightly high, so i will ike to stay below that. My 14cm yates are capped at 1000rpm so i cannot just upp the fans forever to ocmpensate. The current rad kan handle my simple e5200\3870 in its sleep atm, but the idea is more in the direction of a quad an maybe som 4870x2 ish. Every 10% i can get is 10% i can use to turn down the fans again to that inaudible area again...

well I can tell you this, I run 140mm fans in my p80 and they are SO much quieter than any 120mm fan I have ever used.

XSPC RS is 121mm wide
XSPX RX is 125mm wide
PA120.3 is 128mm wide
MCR320 is 128mm wide
Feser is 123mm Wide

Now tell me again why the PA140.3 cant be made to fit within 147mm...?

well it seems were all set then, I guess I'm just heated that the rad i bought wouldn't fit >.< :D

not yer but eventually.....

thermocill are concentrating on the 120.4 and quad pass 120.3

oh incidently exclusive news. All future THERMOCHILL products will no longer have a BLEED valve! Starting from the 140.3!

So the 140.3 is about 18inches long and the LL 343B is about 20inches high (515mm). Will it possibly fit?

Due to the fact that not many use it.

Lets face it you dont really need that valve to bleed air.

there is a metric side on that ruler....

the width is 143mm the thickness is 58mm length is 461mm

ok folks

im off to Taiwan to visit DFI HQ. They want me to work with them on the p55 boards. Generate ideas etc

I will start testing as soon as I get back on the 28th.

while your there tell them to fix the f-ing memory straps on the UT p45-T3RS its absolutely ridiculous at this point.

That valve is so ridiculously useful with a rabox it's not even funny. It's a major reason I went with TC in the first place.

Your right... you don't "NEED" a valve, bit it was a hell of a useful in the process. I always used it when I flushed my system, I thought it was just smart...

Guess I'll be skipping these 140's then.
I hate it when companies remove functionality in development.
