Ah good, Mr. 32M himself is here to the rescue. :p:
I would say step one is to increase the uncore even before going deep with the tweaking. It's a must to have it in the 4.2-4.5GHz range at least.

lol^^ Pure fun!
Oh no doubt, but the uncore can't be forgotten for 32M, that's all. And its an odd one because it basically helps nothing besides superpi. And as for the bclk, I'll be the first to admit I'm probably as bad at bclk clocking as I am at fsb clocking, which means a 6 year old could probably get it higher than me. :p:
Okay - I followed Georges clocks and Jody's regedit instuctions. This looks better. I did disable explorer.exe also.
Man that was easy:yepp:
I don't really understand what is going with the vcore. I had it set in bios at 1.6v and then raised it to 1.64 with eleet tool. And then it shows 1.7v in cpuz
thanks guys
see i told you to ignore Gautam and you would be fine :D
nice work Ron
no here is the frequency goal for sub 8 min...and i am not even the fastest for this time slot ;)

You're getting feisty of late...seems like it's about time I step back in to the LLC with my new weaponry.
P.S. Ron, I have the same happening to me with vcore. I think it's the new BIOS doing it. It used to be that e-Leet set voltages were a little higher than what you'd get in reality.
Based on the clocks I'm getting, I would actually trust CPU-Z. I think it's telling the truth, but something goofy is going on with e-Leet setting vcore.
One more thing...disable hyperthreading for everything besides 06/Vantage/wPrime. Higher clocks and better efficiency. :)
yeah, i am full of piss and vinegar today. i haven't been in the LCC for a while either. the guys in there are tearing it up like no ones business...i'm not even sure i can catch them.
and yes, drop HT, bandwidth goes up and with it 32M efficiency. good tip Gautam, forgot about that one
Did you see that 3oh6 nub went to a DFI board. I mean really who uses a DFI board?
real men drive neon green with yellow racing stripes and you know it.
Low Clock Challenge AKA LCC

bring it Dave...no fancy cooling needed, just SPi 32M/hardware maximizing skills
my bad.
Dave's toys always seem to come in pairs. :)
and they are the best damn looking twins i have seen
For those that don't like regedit this works too ;)

On XP (this is enabled by default on Server OS) set memory usage to System Cache.
Note: This is a 32M tweak only, do not use it for 3D benchmarking.
Ron, did you get similar results with the new board?
I'm a slow learner here Yellowbeard :yepp: Peter is giving me a Classy Education. ;) I'm having some hdw problems also that I'm chasing at the moment. I would love to have some big results with this board.
