Anyways, regarding your GPU clocks ryba, try turning down vGPU to about 1.28V to see if you can get higher core/shader without tripping OCP, presuming you have CB BIOS?
Stock BIOS with 1.25V :D I had too low CPU to do better score :(Quote:

Just a headsup I will have gtx280 bracket kits available starting next week for you guys with TK 3.0, 3.0 slims, and 4.0 slims. New bracket works perfect on both gpu units and the 4.0 slim is perfect size for Tri.

thanks Vince, the pots are great. finally got a session in earlier this week with a pair of HD4850s, and even without thermal probes,
the pots were easy enough to handle just by feel. here is a photo of them in action and some results from my RE thread...

All the slim 4's now come with standardized mounting using stainless metric screws like Jodies for mounting bracket(s).

"full production", they work great.
unfortunately i don't need 4870x2 brackets right now as i haven't been able to acquire one...yet (gotta be optimistic).
the pots are awesome, no updates with the HD4850s as those had to go back but i am prepping a single GTX280
and should have a pair of GTX 260s this weekend that will get treatment sometime. the only problem, is that i
don't have an SLI motherboard capable of high FSB so probably will be limited to 5.5~5.7GHz at the top end :(
the other issue i am having is LN2 as Praxair are starting to be jerks about transporting the dewar. they are
worried they could be liable should anything happen...well write up a waiver then boys :rolleyes: of course,
they won't curb-side fill because i don't have a medical license, city bylaw, so i am looking into a trailer for my
bike as that would be an appropriate transport method, what a PITA. but for a $1/L i will do what it takes ;)

the little bastard held up crazy good under cold and benched for well over 8 hours. no temp probe and no
problems at all. these Tek9 4.0 Slims are just awesome to bench with, so easy to predict and manipulate.
The CPU was just on a weak single stage, not that this card needed much higher CPU clocks. Here are some

How long does the ice last on the GPU cooler like time wise?
Also how long will it last on a CPU run?
4.0 has alot of punch for it's size /mass. When it gets really loaded up, it starts to feel like 3.0 unit. As long as you stay on top of the temps when your benching, the unit can do wonders. It works with SO MANY diff cards/scenarios....here is one of many :DQuote:

What card did you have in mind. It fits alot post 7800gtx/x1800
When these units are really loaded up like with gx2 1050mhz+ or gtx280 1150mhz+ etc.. they "lose" their swing and come into tune perfectly where you really need to just keep them full of LN2 and they hold the load perfectly with almost no swing. The internal volume of the container is also a BIG part of the tuning. If you dont fully load them there is more up and down with the temps, cool?Quote:
