Ah loving it, some pure Lian Li quality!

(that's so my friend and not me, total nerdddd :))
At least I have a nice Lian Li PC-V351B on route!
Tons of ambition.
No money.
I was on the right track guys, I swear!
Sadly my machine has looked like this for the past 3 years. Haven't even bothered to change the water. :shakes:

All that for a dual core celery pffhaha
Also curious as to why snipe doesn't come here anymore?
I loved every single one of his builds with a passion.
Are lian li cases easy to take apart or do they require to be de-riveted?
I was just wondering because id like to spray paint the interior black, would it be possible to get a quality spray with the case still together or would it be better to take it apart and then give it a spray paint?
Here's mine:

Screamer,
What is the RAM water block that you're using?
@ Screamer
The very best of Lian Li PC-V Series.
It's handmade block by my friend Barus

Shoggy, I like how you put all the cables out of view of the window. Not necessarily managed, but just good looking.
putting in a request here.
can anyone remember who posted the PC-343B with the phase unit coming from over the other side, and had watercooling on the remaining components?
or if not, anyone saved them maybe and can post them??

wow! very nice converge! love it!
very nice converge :)
Wow, I always thought the PC-X1000 was massive, but it actually looks manageable in that picture. Liking them more and more.
Thats some awesome work, but is a dual rad enough, or is there one more which cant be seen in the pics?
Thanks :)
Yeah it's actually a very nice size, there's no wasted room in mine, everything fits very snug. Coming from a TJ07 the x1000 is a much smaller case.
Thanks man. Well it's actually a 280 (140.2) rad which is about equivelant to a 360. It is more than enough for my cpu and chipset loop and having 140mm fans makes it all very quiet.
Koolance's rads kind of mimic HWLabs ones (they have similar to GTS thin 30mm rads with 30FPI and full thickness 20FPI like GTX), IIRC they lack silent fan rads though in their line (like SR1).
The core on the Koolance rads is the exact same core on the GTS. The only thing different about them is the end tanks. If your looking for a quiet cooling solution, better look elsewhere for your rad. . .I suggest Swiftech MCR.
A little background:
Last year, I had to construct a new PC. Weighing cost, performance and price, I settled on a i7 920 2.66ghz + GTX295 video card.
The graphic card had a fan/heatsink setup that ramped up during extensive usage and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner even though it was 2 meters away. The temps were high, 55c on idle and 91c on load. The noise got to me eventually. I needed a system to be fast and quiet (like a mac :D). I started research on water cooling a year back in Sept09.
With great advice from folks at OCF, RRTech & XS (esp Conumdrum, Spawn & Red), I took the plunge in April this year. Got MCR320 Drives that's a 3 in 1 system that included pump, radiator and reservoir. It was a simple setup for a newbie.
My current Lian Li case is way too small for the wc stuff. :p It's a bit of a Frankenstein setup but it's good for testing and learning. I will be looking into making a custom case in about 6 months.
Current temperature for CPU on load is on low 60s (10c difference from air cooling). GPU is running at 40c idle (~20c difference). I haven't had to the chance to test it on BFBC2.
It looks hideous but this system is way quieter than the old one. :D

ram blocks connected serial? I strongly advise to connect them in parallel. Ram dissipates only very little heat, almost always even simple air cooling is more then enough, so most cases where ram LC is used it's for bling. But connecting such resistive water blocks as for ram ones (very small crosssection, tight flow bends) in series simply is killing overall flow in loop with no practical gains and hurting cooling of other components in loop which actually make up biggest share of performance and which might profit from extra flow for better cooling/better overclocks.

Lovely idea, that sidepanel on 5.25 bay enclosure side. Though flowery motive looks a bit out of place in combination with industrial look on the right from it :)
You forgot to cool the HDD(s)/SSD(s) and PSU!
Very purdy there tipgo.
Here is a P80 Armorsuit i've recently built.
One of the few cases around
that can hold EVGA X58 Classified 4-Way SLI
and a internally placed quad radiator without any major modifications.
This one in particular got a glossy black interior powder coating
a basic cable management, Koolance waterblocks and pump-res combo
and some aluminium sideskirts to partially conceal the wheels and fans in the bottom of the case...

What tubing brand did you use knet? Usually with light colored liquid in white tubing, the tubing becomes a bit transparent. The stuff you used doesn't show any signs of transparency...
Here are some photos of my upgrade/redo (the first major since 2007). The project is named for a famous text written by Danial Bernoulli about the mathematics and engineering of water flow (hence the name Hydrodynamica). The 'DS' stands for dead silence and the '3X' means that the build has three separate water loops (one for the cpu, one for the gpus, and one for the chipset, .. although, in this current configuration, the third pump is off and the XSPC RX 120 that would be used for chipset cooling is currently helping out on the ATI 5870s). The project produces 18 dB at almost exactly 30 cm and from three feet away is truly dead silent. It also features some custom work, including a special negative pressure airflow system with custom backplates to radiate heat, a rebuilt PhysX card with a custom circuit board add-on and passive cooling, a custom built handle on the XSPC dual DDC reservoir for pulling it out to add coolant, etc..... All three water loops and cooling are internal. Notice that I did not use a SLI bridge for the water blocks on the two GPUs, as this cuts flow and increases temps. It is not as decked out as some of the mega rigs I have seen here at XS, but then it is also not a show piece either. It is a day in and day out rig where I cannot stop operations just because Bitspower came out with a new color combo.
The temps are:
When flight simming or gaming; cpu ~41 deg C, gpus 44 deg C, northbridge 39 deg C, PhysX card 34 deg C
When running Matlab, finite element analysis or simulating neural networks; cpu 43 deg C, gpus 46 deg C
When running Prime95 on 12 cores (at the one hour mark); cpu is roughly 63 deg C
The current specs are:
i7 980X @ 4.4 GHz, ASUS P6T Deluxe Version 2, 12 GB Corsair Dominator @ 1866, 2 x 5870 (Crossfire), Ageia PhysX PPU card, Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatalt1y Pro, 2 x OCZ Vertex 120 GB in RAID 0 (Firmware 1.6), 2 x OCZ Vertex 2 120 GB in RAID 0 (Firmware 1.11), Seagate 1 TB, Thermaltake Toughpower 1200W modular, Lite-On 24x DVD burner and Pioneer BDR-205 Blue Ray Burner, Apogee XT on the cpu, MCW-80s on the GPUs, DDC 3.25 pumps, XSPC rads and XSPC dual DDC reservoir, Lamptron FC2 version 2, Scythe S-Flex and Yate Loon low speed fans, Logitech G510 keyboard, MX Revolution and Razer Mamba, Creative Gigaworks 750, Sharp LC-46D85U, Track IR 5 and CH Fighterstick/ Pro Franken Potato Throttle/ Pro Pedals
(some of the wiring and the speaker cables are run behind the walls for less clutter)
I know mine is posted in work logs, but I might as well post it here too! I have to compliment everyone here though, beautiful work!! :D
