Hey Creative.
Mine is also my gaming and 24h rig :D I do not accept settings being not 100% gaming stable for me and reliable.

I think in superpi it has to be an .ini or .txt file containing the results, doesn't it? But it's overwriting the results everytime you reach higher ones ;) Does it really have to be deleted???
Otherwise I would just download another superpi and make a new directory for it ;)

1. Grab superpi from hereand install it or extract it, either one :)

2. Click on post reply down the bottom of the thread page and then down the bottom of the text box where u write your message you will see the insert file box....you cant insert a file in the quick reply box unless it is hosted on an ftp or something and using [img] tags :)

i now know how to attach a file but the problem is when i try to submit the post it says my image is too big.
the file is .jpg and the size of it in properties is 655,000(roughly), how do i make is any smaller to fit?
if i make the image any smaller, by cutting bits off and shrinking it, no 1 will be able to read the image?

Try to compress the image even more, e.g. with photoshop. "Save as" and iirc there is an option to decrease img quality to lower img size :D

I've ran it at 4410MHz now (1.8V and 1010D bios <- quite slow) and still cant go below 33sec :P aarrghh :D
time to do vcore mod and try 4410mhz with 1002 bios (this bios maxes at 1.7V)

also SuperPi 8M @4314MHz 1.70V => 6min 9sec

I cracked the 36s w/my new barton. Got 35s now at 2819MHz and with 246MHz fsb 2,0-11-2-2 :D

Cpu is not what I hoped for though :( It's not stable at that speed to do 3DMark and gaming - not satisfying. Need 2,1V to do 2,766GHz in prime but don't know if it can do it more than 50min...

1M => 30sec (@4801MHz)

8M => 5min 34sec (@4801MHz)

I had a run at 4868 which gave 29sec but it seems that I've replaced that screenshot with the 8m one (once I started lookin at the screenshots I noticed I had two of those 8m shots and only one 1m) :/

Man macci were tied @ 30sec 1mb and you had -200+degrees and 100 mhz on me wtf:)

well I'm using slow bios and also you know how much extra CPU it takes to cut even 1sec off of the time :)

Wooooohoooo. Macci, for 30sec it would need a 3200MHz barton at least :D

APG/PCI is locked at 72/36 on that one. When past 300FSB the AGP/PCI needs to be set above 66/33.

With Vcore and Droop voltage mod I might have a chance of running the CPU at over 5GHz SuperPi stable but in order to hit 28sec I should be able to run the mobo and RAM at 315FSB 5:4. I've run it thru 3dmark at 313 5:4 so that might be possible too. Its just that I need to use BIOS 1008 (which is not very fast) to reach that speed. Not sure if TAM used the same bios when he hit 28sec.
So if he did it with 1008bios then yes I might stand a small chance of hitting it but if he did it with 1002 or pretty much any other bios then its out of the question :)

Well I just tried it now on my 24/7 rig whilst surfing and listening to toones......

39secs my lil' Barton will manage it in....

Barton is sat at 2766MHz (230x12)

Ram at 11,2,2,2 (Corsair 3500XMS)

I've managed to get 37 seconds with my 1700+ at 2.8GHz, FSB at only 200MHz and RAM timings of 11,2,2,2.

Damn I need a new board to get higher FSB!!!! It's holding back my 3DMark scores too :(

my mobo maxet out (IC7 v 1.0)

So... the EE is about 2 sek faster than standard P4

How close are you to 27 sek?

My FX-51 doing 27 sek at 3151 VERY close to 26 sek
(have to lover the volt to 2.03 burn 2 SK8V at 2.15 volt)
You have to tell me about "the drop volt". I have to wait to a new mobo that can do 2.15-2.20 volt to get FX@32xx again.

I am trying to Run Superpi on my new AMD64 and I get the error "NOT EXACT IN ROUND" as soon as it starts to calculate. Is this normal? Is there a specific version of superpi that plays on AMD64 ?
