Honestly I don't see the point... I can tell by looking at it it won't be that good, I don't like to waste my time :yepp:

Maybe the new revision will involve a convex base or a bowed base.
Yeah, that is very likely.
A thinner base with a bow combined with an improved FuZion design in EnzoTech looks and competitvely priced, that is undoubtfully a winner to me.
EDIT: When EnzoTech are at it, a set of nozzles would be the icing on the cake :D

To set the record straight:
Your contact is either misinformed, or distorting the truth in an attempt to take away credit from Swiftech for designing the product.
First of foremost: Swiftech specified the form factor and design of the MC14, paid for and owns the tooling for it. The only choice Enzotech had to release a 14x14 product was to change the number of pins and cough up the tooling cost. Fair enough, but justifying the revision by a desire to improve upon performance is pure marketing propaganda.
Second and final: the Pin Fin is neither the manufacturer's design, not their intellectual property.
I think it looks really good
arrived in Hong Kong, can't wait to get one :D

Retail version copper base thickness compared with FuZion :D
http://img502.imageshack.us/img502/2...zotech1mm8.jpg
you always get lucky first :( Waiting to read some tests, please before I purchase my blocks.
A disgusting unscrupulous copy of various successful designs.. reminds me of Japanese cars..
looks ok but ill stick with my fuzion i hope the nozzles come out soon because im waiting to get those before i put my loop together
Base is still too thick... on the enzo what u see is the base thickness. On the D-Tek the base in sunken in... the enzo is not.
Wow that's a thin midblock, I'm suprised pressure drop doesn't suffer from that.
I ordered a slide vice for my drill press, maybe I'll experiement with some ultra thin base blocks and see how they do...
Not to mention a total ripoff of the name of an Italian supercar.
These people will reap what they sow. I can see the legal eagles descending on them someday.
I still will buy either a Fuzion or swiftech..not sure yet but most likely the fuzion.
Instead of stating what you think you "know", hows about finding out if these guys have paid to use certain properties from different manufacturers before slating them?
Last time I checked, more products = more choice. If those choices perform well, they will force the competition to keep on their toes or price their pieces more attractively.
Some test results here ;)

temp difference seem minimal....don't think i would change my fuzion for 2c-3c i'ma wait until the accelarator nozzles are out might outperform the enzotech block.....
What's the flow like on the enzotech block?
do u rekon you could start a new thread and do a more in depth review?
maybe with the d-tek fuzion the enzotech block and the swiftech gtx
i would like to see that block on a quad.....if possible
cheers
Thanks for the result... Seems that Dtek is better in term performance vs price ratio. At least for me :)
Hmm, I have only run a couple of passes with the enzotech block but it is not outperforming the fuzion or the bowed Apogee's thus far...
TinTin and nikhsub1, is it the revised blocks you are testing?
Sorry, if I have missed something, but I'm a bit confused of its the first or second vision :)
/Thomas
You know, if swiftech would come out with the copper top as part of the package instead of the additional cost, they they would be untouchable. It doesn't have to be mado of copper but the enzo looks pretty.
I think that all these blocks are well designed and you can't loose with either one. I suppose it comes down to appearance preference rather than performance and I have to admit the swiftech with the brass is #1 but last for the cost.
The test is not done by me, I just translated the review in English. (of course I gained permission from the originator) :D
But the one in test is the retail version as far as I know, as I got mine in some days ago.
My block is still in the box, coz I am in holiday in HK right now, no watercooling stuffs in my HK home. Will test it myself some days later after I back to my working place....:D
http://img218.imageshack.us/img218/2...925049apl3.jpg
i wonder what performance gains could be gotten if someone was to mod there fuzion mid plate with more wholes like the enzo below
http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x...01086/enzo.jpg
Does it bother anyone else that the test shown only stresses the CPU for 10 min?
Also, aren't most block reviews normally done with just the block in question, and not a full loop?
Yes 10min bothers me but WTF can I do? When I run a test of a block, I mount, let TAT run at load for 1 hour, then start recording the load for the 2nd hour. During that second hour I record ambient and water temps as well. I average all temps to get a deltaT. Then, I shutdown, remount the block and do it 4 more times...
Not sure I get your second question? I test with a 'loop'. Rad, pump etc but no GPU block.
Nope I dont work for Malico, I just had the opportunity to get my information direct and from the source in that email interview as I stated in my last post.
The idea of including the copper top might not be feasible, and ofcourse I don't speak for swiftech, but that is my opinion that by adding the copper top into the basic product offer, the price is going to go up which might not end up being attractable to the end consumer.
But I will agree that the meere option or 2nd copper base + top combo block should be available which currently is NOT.
Your probably right, but it should be stated here that I was simply posting tid bits of the information I received from Mr. Chen in that interview. But you are probably right regarding the the form factor design of the MC14 when compared with the BMR-C1s.
I was extremely cautious in my post NOT to mix my words with that of what was said in the interview by Mr. Chen, hence I began the quote with "According to..." I just wanted to clarify that because I never really offered my opinion on the 2 sinks and so Ill take the opportunity to do that now.
I think the MC14 are great, but I also think the BMR-C1s are simply "greater" but in all reality both products will serve the same purpose just fine. And that ofcourse is in context to the most recent MC14s which I hear are now including better thermal tape to prevent the falling off annoyance as was reported in this forum along with many others.
So its really a matter of taste in the end as to which one the consumer likes better in terms of aesthetics and appearance you could say, be it the shiny and included extra pins of BMR-C1 or the MC14s which simply put, "get the job done."
nik, the test was done with a GPU and custom made NB and SB blocks in the loop.
You also bring up another valid point with multiple mounts, which was not done.
Can you reveal which changes have been made from the first to the second version?
Well, the round pins seems to give the lower pressure drop?
But the FuZions middle plates outlets should be suffient enough, so an increase of outlets and their size shouldn't make much difference?
/Thomas
The thing about the fuzion pins is they line up vertically and horizontally so the water flow from center to the outlet holes has to bounce around through all the pins to run diagonally. The enzotech version adds pins, as it increases in diameter, but there are still some straight paths to the outlet.
It's also interesting to see how tall the enzotech pins are, that's taller than I would have expected..interesting.
Anyone know how the base is manufactured ? cast or forged?
Outstanding I can't wait to delve deeper.
gigantic hey.................Quote:
2-3c is gigantic with watercooling
That test is not in line with my testing of the SCW-1.
I had a rev.1 block, but I don't see how much they could have changed based on those pictures... As already pointed out, 3C is not a huge improvement in air cooling, but people around here will upgrade their rad, pump, and CPU block to get a 3C reduction under load...
Yeah, I would have to agree though on the multiple mount issue. With my limited testing, I was typically seeing a 1C variability depending on my remount.
Nice looking block though, always up for some competition to put the pressure on..
so long as the pressure doesnt make them cut corners with regards to product performance...
hi!Tin Tin!
I had tested before, really two degrees lower than D-tek,
even with idle and full load,
better performance and good looking than D-tek!
I'll be interested to see what happens when I receive a new revised block. From my communication with Enzotech, they felt that their original block was a top performer, but I found it to be not all that impressive. I guess they made some changes, but haven't gotten back to me with an updated one...
So what's the latest on the availability of this thing? Any indication of price?
any nice graphs and charts yet?
come on guys, someone must know something... should someone wait or go on and finish his built :p:Quote:
So what's the latest on the availability of this thing?
is this block even out in the U.S yet???
I need a more in depth review...if this block outperforms or is same performance as the d-tek fuzion I'm getting it...
i want to know it performs on a quad....
Nice pictures! They sure know how to advertise :)
I've been advised by Enzotech that my block is NOT revision 1. It's a pre-revision 1 sample. I had assumed that the blocks on the market were revision 2, since the block I got had been revised, but I was mistaken. Just wanted to clear that up with everyone.
Mr NCIX we don't care about your block's revision :p: (<- joke)
give us an ETA :D
the reason I posted the revision of my block is that I had said earlier in this thread that my performance numbers were lower than the other review, and I had believed my block to be rev 1 and the release block to be rev 2. I was mistaken. The release block is rev. 1 and my block is a pre-rev. 1 block.
I'm working on an ETA though ;)
I just came across EnzoTechs new NB/SB block at a french reseller:
http://www.opium-pc.com/catalog/imag...hsnbw-sliM.gif
http://www.opium-pc.com/catalog/imag...snbw-sliaM.gif
http://www.opium-pc.com/catalog/prod...oducts_id/1739
The "funny" thing is, that it isn't at Enzos own website yet, but it doesn't look bad at all :D
Maybe a VGA block is coming along as well?
/Thomas
i don't how well they perform but the enzo block's are certainly very sexy...a full enzo set cpu,nb,sb,vga......
Not as sexy as ek block's though
damn i like the enzo look
Oooooh...nice shiny stuffs...
...m..m.mussttt rrressisstt t t the ttttemmpttatttion....
Shiny.... Ahh I like a little bling... must resist...!
/looks in wallet
oh yeah, easy to resist - no money :p: :(
:slobber: Such nice eye candy if they preform anywhere close to how they look I want some!!!:slobber:
like the base better then the one in the mcw 30
What comes to mind is Bling Bling Bling Bling :slobber:
I don't think they'll ever be available. Maybe they ran out of copper?
i already order my ek block's so the enzo block's are out of the question...Maybe my next build hopefully they perform as good as they look hey!
Looks impressive and hopefully they learnt there mistakes when making the CPU block and have sorted what issues they had out
very easy to resist, too much bills piling up...
but damn looks very pretty...
I have some pictures :)

The bundle is quite rich and my first impression is absolutely good. The only thing surprised me was the weight : it's really light.
However, it seems to work amazingly, even if I have no RAM at the moment to test the WB on my quad , 'cause my Crucial are in RMA :(.
where did ya purchase that from???
can you give a linky or an address/contact info?
i may be going to italy for a business trip soon...
Yes the packaging is quite sexy.
Who is this guy. Pops in out of no where to tell us about this block he got and doesn't even indicate where he purchased it from - oooooh your precious block of brass - what is this, a gold bar stolen from a bank in Italy? Are you related to Al Pacino??:spam: :gay: :horse: :with: :wierd: :cord: :argue:
You can name any shop here. Which you might notice after just a little bit, as most of us love to pimp Petra's Tech Shop. :D :D
www.liquidmachine.it
But currently they're out of stock..... And yes, one is on my hand.....
Just to make you a bit grudge.... :ROTF:
WOW.. havent seen such a flame post in a while. Wondering if IMFU is going to edit that out.
1. Some sites dont allow posting of store names. And whats wrong with keeping it a secret? Ive kept the IWAKI wholesaler whom i got my RD-30 from secret. Very few people know which wholesaler i went though. Theres nothing wrong with keeping vendors quiet. He was nice enough to say he would PM the vendor to anyone who was interested. I dont see why your going off on him.
And I also stopped telling people the wholesaler of IWAKI was once petras and jt had them in stock. The price difference isnt very large incase of those wondering. There not making very much off the pumps each. If you want even more info, i saved ALEX and the Community by introducing him to the cheaper vendor then the one he was originally going to go with.
2. Even if they had it in stock, and he left the name included, and he did mention it was italy, Would you have bought one? If you wouldnt, then why does the store name even apply to you?
3. Im sure IMFU has a really big sign on this forum that says please respect other members. You really should be nicer to people expecially if there new. He was nice enough to take pictures and show us the packaging. Thats a lot more then what you've done for this thread. Please stop Trolling. Your last few posts showed your a troll more then a contributor.
Anyhow, let us know how the block works out. The more first hand commentary people have the product only the better.
Anyhow, Dexther, incase no one welcomed you to XS Forums. :welcome:, pull up a chair, and join us in chats. Think went off awefully rude, there would of been nicer ways to say this.
nikhsub1, do you have the new rev.1 block yet, or are you using the older one with the thick base?
Ooooo, no NDA? http://smilies.vidahost.com/cwm/cwm/eek6.gif ...COOL!
I'm sure I speak for a few interested in this block when I say, GET A MOVE ON :cord: :lol2:
We want test results!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Please?:ROTF:
bring out the hand taps...
eagerly awaiting some sort of results....
A review here.
Hope you like it.... altough it's in italian..... ;)
Nice review, tnx for the link ;)
So it is the best one ... a comparation with Fuzion could have been better , but  ...
The only one negative note (by the reviewer) is the lack of innovation because this enzotech seems only to improve the Fuzion project in technic and appearance : by me, not at all a negative aspect! :D
I would be nice for the non Italian speaking members if someone could translate that review into English and maybe post it on this board as well for interested members.
Nice results.. My attempt to read the graphs tell me the SCW-1 isn't too restrictive, matching the Fuzion flow restriction. It seems to beat the Apogee GTX so I expect it to at least match the Fuzion and the Apogee GTX with a more accurate test bench, which is good.
Try with this:
http://www.google.com/translate?u=ht...&hl=en&ie=UTF8
Maybe you can understand ....if you can't understand something just PM me.... ;)
I was about to ask that actually. Can someone who reads Italian verify if that APOGEE GTX is bowed or not?
Not Bowed.....
3 Different mounting to test the contact.....
When i open the waterblock to mount the bigger oring two threads of the base just went off.....
