Somebody else must have an e6300. I feel lonely down there by myself. Maybe they are all intimidated by my beastly score. ;)
I have an E6300 but i'm waiting for my Zalman CNPS 9700 LED & Asus P5N32 -E SLI and than Scores :D...
Edi: why.. what mb do you have now.. and what are it able todo ?
I'm waiting for a new mb. my old died at a fsb at 540..
but I hope the new will break the 100% OC.
So.. I'll add mine soon shifty803 :)
not for nothin', but #6 on the E6600 list seems to only have done 6hrs. of Orthos. I thought we needed 8hrs?? Just checking the rules here for an "official" OC.
There are probably some E6400 that would not want to post next to yours;)Quote:

I am a bit confused with some of the results I am seeing here with Orthos.
Why is it that for all the Orthos runs (small fft) over 8 hrs, we are showing different amounts in the "rounds" window?
As I run it, I get 1 round for every time it passes a test.
Some results are showing 0/0, I got 31/33.
Also, I think the screenshot should be with Orthos running, NOT idle or crashed, with cpu-z in the same shot, as I know Orthos can be faked.
I would prefer to see an official acurate db.
Note: I am not in anyway accusing anyone here of false shots, just my input. :toast:
My 2 cents.
4X4N used large FFTs test and is on the list as well :nono: Though I think large FFTs test is great for stressing CPUs, rules should be rules.Quote:

As soon as I go watercooling in a few weeks, I have no doubt that my E6300 will reach 3.5Ghz+...the only thing holding me back right now are my temps.
Best $180 processor EVAR.
Same here buddy. Booted up at 500MHz Fsb and the cpu was rock solid stable, so was my ram. Northbridge temps were awfully disgusting so I had to back down.Quote:

What does it mean when on dual orthos- one of them just freezes, but there are no errors while the other one is running fine and continues till I stop it?
What do you mean by "Dual Orthos"? Orthos by default stresses 2 cores so are you running 1 or 2 instances?Quote:

Guys, please read the first post before putting up your overclocks. Grim specifies 8+ hours of dual Prime95 small fft or blend and/or Orthos. I don't mean to get anybody angry, but that really is necessary to verify stability of the overclock. Try not to clutter up the thread too much with invalid or incomplete posts. :stick:

@ pete.. why can't ask ... something fishy .. :D
@ Famich .. i think water max should be around 3700 to 3750. Dun dare to use the 3800 for 24/7. But one thing really nice is that almost all the
L630A75x chips did quite well .. :D
Can I join with E6400 and two speeds? I have incredable stepping, very low voltages..
3800 at 24/ is quite possible for me , as my chip is capable to run at that speed at 1,5 V Core, which is acceptable.Quote:

It shows that 4GHz with simple water is possible, with some tweaks it should be no problem to get it 24/7 stable - if you do not care about the temps around the borderline ... lapping could help to get the temps down a bit too and - as last resort - chilled water could do the trick also, but i`m happy with the 3.9GHz i´m running the cpu now 24/7  and now let´s have a closer look at some 3060´s :toast:

Dual prime @ 3900 with a 6400 on water is remarkable. Could be used as a standard itself. This was on the front page though and not that I'm trying to take away but it needs to be clarified maybe. "The Screenshot must have orthos running.. Idle or crashed results will not be included from now on." Is that for orthos only? I will try, won't do dual (my ver. has an instance for both cores)or more than 8hrs though. I want to use my board. Congrats on your run.

Windows XP SP2 pro
Check the other pics in that directoryfor the cooling and the rest of the computer. The details are, rebranded laing d5 pump @ 8.35v, swiftech mcr320 radiator, aquaextreme mp05 waterblock, swiftech mcw30 northbridge block, a mix of thermaltake/zalman vga ramsinks on the mosfets next to the CPU and the stock e6400 heatsink's fan over it. All fans attached to a sunbeam fan controller(including the pump).
3.8 is a bit trickier, I'll have to try more later, but the voltage increase is definately not worth it.
LOL I got relegated to the E6600's... mines a 3060 though! ='(

Upset with so poor info on L631A 6600. Got mine 2 days ago, waiting for the mainboard delivery (damn, a whole month of waiting) P5N32-E SLI. Statistics has plenty of data on 30th and 32nd week, but only couple of results of 31st week. Mine one has L631A640. Hope it's not worse than 3600; if not-will change it. Cooling is Tt BigWater 745.
Heys my L631A500 can do 3600 on air with the P5N32-E SLI.. just haven't benched with it yet cause the temps are so high due to the very warm 26-28C ambient room temp... =D

ThermalRight SI128 :P not thermaltake lol
Blackoberst
congrats on being the 2nd 6300 :D really amazing chip :O 1.25 and 3GHZ :D
Shifty come company for you lol :P
RD600 comming into the List and doing well :D
Note--must have atleast 8 hours of Orthos/Prime Small ffts or Blend.. should be running will not accept stopped or crashed results :toast:
Keep them comming :toast:
Thanks Grim!!!! <3
Thanks Grimm! :) Shifty won't be lonely anymore :D. Unfortunately it's max for my E6300 at that voltage. I wanted more :D.
And I noticed now that there is a bigger drop with 1004, 1.2650v in BIOS, 1.22v load. On 0910 I had 1.265v in BIOS, 1.25 in load. Damn, Asus did it again. :slash:
But seems to be stable even at 1.22v load, running Orthos now. On 910 wasn't stable at 1.22v load. Weird.
