Since I don't have any proof that he cheats for his mem's clock, I have to validate his scores ;)Quote:

Hehe, you start to be my worst ennemy...
Congratz for your 2 World Record :D
I think it's time for me to try the impossible...
(update this evening)
@jmax_oc
Hehe hehe , and you start to be my BEST friend...
:toast:
Nikolas61, I saw your CAS3 results due to memset bug.
Is your CAS4 result done with a CAS change under windows ? If you change CAS5 to CAS4 in windows (memset), the real CAS doesn't change.
I was a bit sceptik about your 720MHz CAS4 with only 2.9V. With my memory, I think it could be possible with 3.3-3.4V
yes I did cas changing under windows, but how can I know, that other guys on list doesn't work the same thing (via memset instead of BIOS)?
:)
p.s. I didn't know that memset is buged
:toast:
Unfortunately, we didn't know if it's a real CAS4 or a CAS5 modified in CAS4 via memset.
So please understand that I will invalidated your CAS4 results.
=> You get the CAS5 WR but I keep the CAS4 ones ^^
It isn't fair. How can I know that you boot with cas4, instead lowering cas in windows? And if manage to get better clocks with boot&cas4 how can I know that u believe me?
I had friends watching me : Skirms_fr, Overcrash, Misteroadster, Boblemagnifique and Md_Curl
Sorry
If you get a nice score in CAS4, It will only depend of you :
- if you say that you change CAS5 to CAS4 with memset => I will invalidate score
- if you say that you boot at CAS4 => I will validate score
Very fair from u jmax_oc, (I'm nikloas61 friend, I heave already result with nikolas61 with buffalo)
jmax_oc I believe u really done that cas 4 with boot. We will try also, and if we get new WR, we will make some video from power on and I'll upload it here.
:toast:
Video isn't needed from nikolas61. I trust him without vidz :D
Good luck in your CAS4 race (be ready to send more than 3V :D)
I push my G.Skill modul a little bit more :)

As DStealth said, it is really amazing riding DD3 memory speeds on DDR2 modules.
:) :) :)
I hope we're underestimating DDR3... What were WR DDR clocks? In the DDR700 area? If thats so then hopefully the pattern continues, DDR3-2800!!!!

Devil, I will add your score as soon as possible
i wasn't really shooting for 700mhz but managed a valid CPU-Z of it with a kit of OCZ 2x1GB PC9200 Reaper HPC. cooling was with just a 120mm fan with ambient around 23C. my P5B-Dlx isn't VDIMM modded but at 2.45v it really puts out 2.50v measered with a DMM so that is what was running for the CPU-Z.
