Has anyone tested max CL3 results with a P5W yet?
Has anyone tested max CL3 results with a P5W yet?
Can anyone post some results from the Cellshock 6400 C4 ?
German hardware-forum:

This thread is only for Cellshock memory, go in and find out...:)
Thanx for the linkage :)
I couldn't ran CL3 @ DDR2-800, @ DDR2-667 it run without problems. My rams are the DDR2-800 CL4.Quote:

buy them here :D
MSC (www.msc.de) will not sell the CellShock (www.cellshock.eu) modules directly to end-users - so please check where else you can get.
You can also find links to relevant vendors on our homepage ;)
I want that memory even i am with Dominators now...
Cheers for the link GrimReaper i think i will be buying on Friday the C4 800 stuff from my local shop, only the prices in Germany are far better than in the UK :(Quote:

:slapass: Should have told us earlier :( I spent like £270 on a pair last week. I haven't got any other kit to compliment them yet. ASUS Striker on order from Amazon US and Xeon 3060 is only £170 in UK.The memory came well wrapped but the actual plastic packaging was cracked as if they'd been tossed around/dropped in stock room:confused:
For me they came packed very well in a much larger box bubble wrapped
out of the two kits that I ordered one of kits the plastic outer pack was cracked a bit on the side. :fact:
I think that happens, but the memory works fine :D
edit- on a a side note the marketing guys at cellshock really needs to improve the packing of this memory without increasing the price :p:
hehehehe I reckon they must have dropped the whole box ( was it on the left side?) the memory seems undamaged and I'm sure it will work fine.
Today I just recevied mine:
...
Tryin to kill 'em quick eh? :rolleyes:Quote:

Here is the current state of quick stability test (I hope it will remain CL3 to about CPU FSB wall ~517MHz :) )
Can you post a picture of the memory SPD? :D
Yes, but i dont see a point :)
Are you sure it is 2.3V???????Quote:

you have the reprogrammed SPD with epp support maybe this helps someway in overclocking? :confused:Quote:

You have to use an nVidia chipset based motherboard to feel an advantage of EPP. The EPP is useless with boards based on non-nVidia chipsets absolutely.Quote:

Im done, this memory rocks!

I wonder how the CAS5 perform.
Should receive mine in 2 days or so .Will elt you know what I think when they arrive ;)Quote:

Screw it, I'm going to beat my bank account into coughing up the dough for some of this stuff. Is the 1000 c4 worth the extra cash over the c5?
EDIT: Nevermind, I just went ahead and ordered the C4. And if anyone else is thinking of ordering, now is the time to do it. 7.5% off with code DF35TA. :D
WOW, this memory is awsome. I'll have to learn about memory timings more before I get rid of the gskill hz's. 4-4-3-5 @ 500mhz+ makes me happy. My memory scores are MUCH lower with my timings being very close. Any advice on what timings to use to get higher bandwidth scores?
just for bench but awesome at 2,45vdimm :stick:

There is no such D9 that can do DDR1000 tCL @ 3 with 2.3V, period.Quote:

Yes, I have shown a while ago how one could possibly claim impossible CAS3 clocks on P5B Deluxe. All you need is Memset. There is NO WAY any currently known IC would do DDR2-1000 CAS3 with only 2.3v, especially ORTHOS stable :rolleyes:Quote:

Never seen such thing
Wow, Those rams you guys got was godly. I received mine a week back and it dont seems to be behaving so perfectly.
My rams specification on was a 2.3v instead of a 2.2v on the sticker behind it. BUt i have tested 2.2 on default specs and it boot. Even with 2.4v i dont seem to be able to clock at 1200 @ CL4 :(
did anyone say all 1000 do 1200? tried 1200C5? a good mainboard (for example i680), psu etc. is also needed to reach stable 1200MHz RAM-speeds.
btw. we lifted specification for all CellShock DDR2-1000 series to 2,3V also for the former ones sold with 2,2V on sticker ;)
I had a pair that did 580 max at cas4 (only stable enough for 1M) and even at cas5 600mhz wouldnt work. Same setup/settings me 2GBHZ does 613mhz on. Some of the older kits seem to do a lot better but whats new ;)
ahh, good to know about the 2.3 volts! I'll stick some more through it when i get back to uni! Any recomendations on ram coolers? Mine seems to be getting a bit toasty at 2.2volts...

I have also orded some: Shocking Cells @ 1000C4
I'm dreaming of some cherry sticks. :D
Maybe I better schould take the: Corsair Dominator 8888 but's a bit overpriced imo. € 580,- / $ 749,- :shock2:
Results coming soon.......
lol your AI Suite is showing 2.1vdimm heheheQuote:

have you try up TRD.. this chip or the P5WGD2 like high TRD... ( 8 at mimimum.. perhaps 9), and it's seems higher you go.. higher this value should be.. Try too up the TRFC to 42... Perhaps it will help..Quote:

^ how much Vdimm??
... also, what Host Clock Frequency (or "strap" if you will) are you on, 266MHz or 333MHz? Keep in min, that CPU-Z is still not reporting memory frequency correctly when it comes to "Host Clock" other than default on XBX and XBX2.Quote:

What I'm trying to say, when you come and claim such a high 32M stable OC on RAM and CAS3, you need to give us ALL the details, not just a link to a pic and no word, if you know what I mean ;)
Thanks!
actually i am not impressed anymore with Cas3 any more people usually don't boot with it but change it from Windows

As long as people are very honest about how they get there, and document their result with detais, I'm personally fine with CAS3 :)Quote:

Thanks for understanding!

let's just say that those sticks (and two other kits) have spent a loooot of time over 2.6v for benching. i haven't noticed any degradation yet.. :toast:

The frequency of the ram is that one indicated from cpu-z.
The ram, they are truly spectacular!
The ram, they make the boot from bios and they have not been set up after in Windows.
A new result:
http://img250.imageshack.us/img250/8822/wrtk9.th.jpg
The V.Dimm at 2.8V on the bios. 2.8V it is the maximum impostabile voltage from bios for bad axe 2.

HI pepole i also have the cellshock 8000 c4 and COMMANDO and i would like
to get from you ,EXPERTS , ALL the timing of this memory that i need to know ,
so my board could hit the golden 560fsb (timing + volts ) .
with my corsair 8000ul the board hits 525fsb , :slapass:
SO , i hope with this mem it would hit fsb560+
(with SS phase change-cpu & extreme spirit 2 - NB) .
No way in hell that could have been correct :PQuote:

Maybe you booted with Cas4 then memset your timings in Windows, but it's a memset glitch because Cas won't change to 3, even if CPU-Z shows it's 3.

Quick question about these ram and ram in general: has anyone taken of their heatspreaders and put on some as5(or similar)? Is it safe? Will it improve heattransfer?
We already use very good Dow Corning paste - no need for voiding warranty and exchange to AS5 or similar ;)
Ah so no improvement to get, thats good news, thanks :) Prices are good here in little denmark btw <3 cant wait ^^

lol, the pictures of the celebrities are awesome hahah :toast:
the 2-3-3 was faster than 3-3-3 but i also doubt that it was really cas2.
but 3-3-3 1000 with 2.3v would be very nice indeed!
but the performance doesnt match 3-3-3 i think... are you sure its running those timings?
Hmmm wondering should take plunge or not to take plunge:rolleyes: I wonder if they will even work in this DFI P35?
is there a problem on the dfi p35 with mem compatibility?
Hmm, my 4x512MB GoodRAM 800C5 (D9GMH) work at 1000 4-4-4-12-25-10-10-10-10 at 2.2-2.225V on P965 or at 1000 4-4-4-12-17-25-5-11-5 on 680i. Well i switched to Promos anyway since my old Goodrams couldn't cope with 1T command rate anyway. Will buy myself some D9GKX or. DQW (anyone???) if possible.
I see some Crucial Value D9GKX, anyone run them 1T? Do they work OK? I've tried Crucial Value D9GMH but they don't go over ~ 910 1T, Promos does 950 4-4-4-15 1T on eVGA 680i LT SLI @ SLI.
are you sure its the mem that prevented your from running at? 0_o
did you check the subtimings? tried another spd?
i dont think its was the mem...
I've replaced the original cooler with TR HR-05 a long time ago. I've tweaked the memory now, it is now capable of running 485 4-4-4-x 1T (Crucial Tracer PC6400) and 450 4-4-4-x 1T (Promos 90nm), but GoodRAM Pro still wouldnt post over 425 at any given latency/voltage. The key to success layed in the secondary timings table.
Is it possible that GoodRAM 800C5 had some bad yields that weren't capable of running 1T. AFAIK command per clock did not depend on the memory type, it was more of a chipset thing. Strange phenomenom :D
(old update:D)
i've already talked about this with saaya, and interesting but my kit rocks on DFI P35, original spd!

(time and cpu voltage doesnt matter, just focus on ram clock & vdimm)
Nice voltage for 600MHz CL4 indeed.
very nice!
it seems it was a bios problem after all?
goo to hear that oskar was amanged to fix the problems :D
