I got E6600 chip : L628B201
28 = week 28
what does b201 means? can u explain it to me?
b201 = batch #
theory has it that they # it
L followed by 2 digits for the week then an A followed by 3 #'s.
after they fill 001-999 they start over with the letter B and 3 #'s.
so the B chips are the newest ones.
again this is something i read on these forums somewhere and dont if this right or not.
btw, where did u get it from?
from australia
afaik "a" or "b" simply denotes geographic destination. A is North America, "B" is Asia and surrounding areas (I could be wrong.)
On topic: I got a L628A919 -02 yesterday. Hopefully the P5B D gets here tomorrow, and I'll compare with my L26 on it. Kit in sig will be transferred around until i get a max clock. :D
